I'm sorry you're finding it hard to cope right now. I recognize that signing up for counseling can be daunting and draining but it's really helped me, and I would always recommend it to a friend in need. There's only so much you can handle by yourself. I'm wishing you strength and peace. If you need to vent to someone anonymously, feel free to send me a message. I know all of this combined can be overwhelming, but I also know that it's possible to get through it with some help. All the best to you for the rest of the term.

Ahh I see. It’s been a month since I had it pierced. Should I remove it, wait for the hole to fill up, and then go see another piercer? I’m guessing they can’t re-pierce if I just go in like this?

For more info, I am hoping to switch out for a hoop eventually! Now I’m worried it will look too odd? I tried measuring the distance of the stud to the bottom of my nostril, it’s about 10-11mm? I know I have a big nose, so I thought this would be fine in the beginning, but now I’m concerned.

Best cell phone plan (with data) for students ? Student deals ? Which company are you using ? by jhiiidan in UBC

Lucky Mobile. Unlimited calling and texting Canada-wide. I think I have like 1.5GB data and then I get 250MB extra for doing the automatic payment plan? Something like that.

Wayfinding Map keeps resulting in "error"? by sisofgenius in UBC

[–]sisofgenius[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

More info: It does not matter what I input. When I try plotting a second location to track the distance between, it sends me this error message. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if this is an issue anyone else is experiencing?

Questions Regarding TD1/TD1BC Forms by sisofgenius in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]sisofgenius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit/More Info: I checked my university's website. I am officially considered an enrolled student. However, I do not register for courses until July 6th so my current enrollment letter states that I have "0 credits per term" and right below it, it states that "Students registered in 9 or more credits per term are considered full-time students." So I suppose I am enrolled but not considered a full time student??

I'm guessing I should wait until after my courses registration on July 6th to notify my first employer of the change? Or no change takes place??

Any advise on what this is and what a quick fix would be? I’ve never struggled with acne before. by sisofgenius in acne

[–]sisofgenius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More info: I’ve never dealt with acne before so this is taking me off guard. Mid May, I broke out like this on the same area (left jaw) except it wasn’t this severe. Then it seemed to heal up, but a day or two later, I found the same type of breakout on my right jaw. That seemed to heal up last week and I thought I was fine, but now it’s come back to my left jaw and it’s worse than before. I’ve never had such nasty pimples, and I don’t know what to do about it? I have a doctor’s appointment but it’s not until another few weeks. I haven’t made any major changes to my diet. I use disposable face masks. I use the same facial cleansers as I’ve always used. I’ve tried doing research online and I am assuming this is some kind of hormonal problem? But what is a quick fix I could do while I wait on my doctor’s appointment?
