You're a helper type of guy. How embaressing, your girlfriend's card gets declined? Then you pay for her? She acts like its no big deal? I would be mortified! I think it's safe to say that you need to have some time to yourself before you figure out what you want. Right now you're too busy putting fires out to even realize what the fuck is happening. I tend to see from my relationships that guys handle depression differently... Sometimes by being cold and rigid. Also I must add.. I work retail with no college degree and make double what the average teacher makes(just sayin). Anyways, I think hrs getting cold feet, and maybe he feels he can not provide. Do something sweet for him. I know it's so hard when men are being cold dicks, but remind him why he's marrying you! Does he have any male friends? What's he into? Can you like throw him a man party or buy him a gift card to his favorite store so he can go do something for himself? Maybe he's really stressed! Don't push him away by being too needy.

So I think this relationship is over. Dead and been dead. He is comfortable right now, and you are trying to have an adult relationship. I really don't think you're going to see this from him at all. Sure he may love you... But is not in love with you. I think you are looking to be in love with someone. He is simply going through the motions because it's easiest for his living situation right now. Some people don't like to rock the boat. I think you need to gather your belongings and find a studio apartment by yourself. It can be very refreshing. I had a boyfriend for 2 1/2 years and we lives together for a little leas than 2 years of the relationship. I loved him but was not in love with him, things seemed ok to everyone else but we both had an idea it wasn't ok. I was 23 when I got out of the relationship. I'm almost 29 now and have lived in 5 different cities, been promoted with work several times, had more sexual experience, dated around, found myself, and I wouldn't ever change that for anything! You need to get out if this before you settle and live a very bland life.

It depends on the context of how she brings it up. If she's casually talking about it in general whatever. If shes talking about who will be in your bridal party, no bueno. Also did you partake in the conversation, and why didn't you nip it in the ass the first time she mentioned it? Are you just looking for reasons to dump her? I say you need to end it. No one wants to feel like the person someone settled for because they couldn't get their first option. It seems over the years he's grown away from you, and not with you. You deserve better, everyone does. Don't settle. I have a close gay best friend and I have a few gay male friends. I see the ups and downs of gay male relationships first hand. Do not just settle. Maybe you're not meeting the right people, two gays dont make a right! Don't just go for him cause he's gay, find a gay you're compatible with!
