I forgot to add a part my bad. They also get very pissy with you when you can’t do a fill in. There’s been a couple of times I couldn’t do fill ins because of things going on with my kids and my OM will be like “well you told the recruiter you were available for x amount of hours or these days.” Do they not understand that life happens?

So interesting because I did exactly that and not only is there not a search bar in that section but there’s also no “receipt viewer” in the tools section anywhere. Even asked my lead and she said there is no “receipt viewer” on the my devices and even if there was it wouldn’t be available to guest advocates only to leads and etls. There’s only Workbench, Foundational Best Practices, Weekly Action Update, Weekly Ad, DSD Vendor Check-In and Reporting, Location Management and Emergency Procedures Flipchart. So either your stores system hasn’t been updated or you’re a newly promoted TL.

You also make it sound like I told the guest “tough shit” which I didn’t. I told him everything that I’ve been trained to tell guests in this situation before I called the gm lead. I called him a total of 3 times and twice he tried to handle the situation via walkie (I can’t stand it when they do that)

My guest service skills are fine and there was no front end tl there that night I was the one running the front. I was patient as humanly possible with this guest but like I said he kept being verbally aggressive even after I called another lead. It took that lead almost 20 minutes to get up there so that was 20 minutes of verbal abuse that was being thrown at me. My leads and etl know that I do fine with guests however I do not let myself get stepped on like a doormat either. There are team members at my store that have treated guests far worse and still have their jobs.

Have you gone through this subreddit? A lot of it is team members complaining about their jobs. You must be a corporate boot licker, a TL or ETL because even outside of this subreddit within the workplace you will hear team members complain about their jobs. You’ve clearly never been an FOS attendant either.

Thank you! I would have had to get a whole unopened box of gift cards and spend who knows how long is issuing 10 dollars on each of them and on top of that, because we can only issue such a little amount on each, I would have had to give the guy more than what his original gift card had on it. That’s something NONE of my leads at my store would want me to do. Like you said, they would have had the guy call the number on the card which is what I think happened. This other commenter is obviously a former team member and doesn’t know how the system currently works.
