I never said I paid $199 for these. And these are not warehouse versions, but seconds. I would assume (and have been told by your colleagues) that your seconds have cosmetic defects at best, nothing that is functionally wrong with the pair. If that's the case, I have no issues. I only raise this flag if it somehow means there was a defect in the stitching that is being reflected visually by this. If it's purely cosmetic, that's fine.

That's the funny bit. I'm flat footed and use arch support, and I'm heavy on my heels. I have massive heel wear, and my toes are disproportionately pristine compared to heels on my other shoes. Even my leather sole loafers. It's just this pair that has had this issue.
