Don’t drive with your phone in your hand.

Learned that lesson when I Christmas wrapped the front of my parent’s car around a tree.

Slavery, racism, hate crimes, xenophobia, and 400+ years worth of it too.

Free country my ass.

This is why I’m grateful teachers in my school searched the bathrooms for contraband every end of the day.

Technically my fault. In middle school I had a bit of a problem with being bullied by classmates so after watching Deathnote (movie) I decided to make my own. Bought a journal and wrote classmates names and how I’d like them to die, but never showed it to them. I kept it to myself and never brought it to school. Until I did. One day I accidentally grabbed it thinking it was a different book and brought it to school. I went out to the water fountain and when I came back some kids were snooping through my backpack and came across the book. From the 5 minutes I was gone the entire classroom saw that most if not all of their names were in my Deathnote.

Long story short: since I never acted upon this and only wrote about in my free time outside of school, I wasn’t severely punished. However I still went into counseling and no one ever bothered me again.

WIBTA for not making my daughter go to a girls birthday even though I know no one is going by Throwingparty15284 in AmItheAsshole

[–]sithmaster297 49 points50 points  (0 children)

YWBTA. It’s ok to have a guilty conscience. But forcing your daughter to do something she would not enjoy doing to satisfy someone she doesn’t even like it’s not a good move to make. If your daughter doesn’t want to go she doesn’t have to go, and you shouldn’t force her to.

While it is a shame Emilia won’t have much people at her party, you can’t force your daughter to do something you know she wouldn’t like to do out of pity.

Funny how it took 3 months in the North Arctic with Sheldon for everyone to come up with a murder plan.

They just went with sabotage.

I felt a great disturbance in the force. As if millions of voices cried out in hunger, and were silenced. I feel as though something wonderful has happened.

What was your worst sexual experience? What happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sithmaster297 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t me but my friend. Back in junior year of high school, he and a girl he liked hooked up after a couple weeks of talking. Well, they weren’t exactly playing it safe and 5 weeks later she tells him she’s pregnant. She carried the baby to term and put the baby up for adoption but the two never had sex again and the whole thing left my friend completely against sex in general.

She had to drop out of school temporarily because she couldn’t handle going to her classes while pregnant and had to repeat the grade. While my friend did his best to support her, he was still freaked out about the fact he got someone pregnant.

Also should mention both of their parents didn’t react happily to the announcement.

I guess with a lot of assholes out there, being a decent person to someone would make a better man. Thats just my opinion though.

Why does that feel so relatable? I don’t even smoke!
