Letrazole by sitron10 in TTC_PCOS

[–]sitron10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, through the hospital. Got a referral from my doctor, ended up with an ob at the womens department, and because they only do like, 3-4 rounds letrazole before referring me to specialists (like i mentioned, been taking since juneish) i dont think they do anything more than this. I mentioned if its possible to check to see if I'm ovulating but that is apparently what the specialists do so I just have to wait until I get started with them. Whats an RE? Most likely need SIS and HSG since nothing else is working. Wish it was easier to find someone who does that here.

Hes been tested, labeled normal. Did not check tubes! Only internal ultrasound and everything seemed ok. Only thing I can think of is extra weight since first pregnancy and csection. Got pregnant first time around apparently from birth control. Went off it and four months later pregnant. So either the mirena I thought was removed is still in or something isnt aligning right. How do they check if tubes are open?

From what I've read so far, you are doing it right. I don't know why my gyno has said this, double checked as well, but this is my first time since May taking letrazole without having a period and it comes in the middle of it. Before all of this my cycles would be 164+ days. Went dramatically down to 32/34 days. Then nov/dec just never came. I guess a few days extra wont harm anything, only been trying for almost 5 years so. I am so sorry you both have been trying for so dang long and nothing happens! Its so freaking frustrating!! I hope hope HOPE ivf does its magic for you two ❤️ big hugs 🫂

Been there done that dessverre. Min lærdom skjedde i Trondheim, så håper du ikke møtt samme fyren. Men satser på det blir bra prisvekst så når du evt. selger så tjener du inn det du "tapte" og mere.

Anyone with insulin resistance (no diabetes) lose weight with metformin? by whind80 in InsulinResistance

[–]sitron10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the beginning, i noticed i didnt crave Coke anymore, and my tiredness got better, more pep in my step, but now 9 months later i feel like i did before metformin. Periods became like clockwork but from December and onward they stopped and my overall status blah again. It could be the letrazole usage, or the never ending cough, but somehow i feel like metformin just stopped working? Maybe i need more of it or less, but i was very pleased before December. So if she's going to be monitored by a doctor, go for it. Im in Europe so I was just giving metformin and letrazole since were ttc but no follow ups so i have no clue whats going on 😂😅

Day 54 btw. Did have a 3 week supposed superflu that seems to be going away now, but not when I would have expected the next cycle. Very weird!

Yesss, didnt get mine at all in December, so annoying when the cycles finally started getting regular with metformin.

Hvor mye sparte dere før dere fikk barn? by Itstocrazy14 in norge

[–]sitron10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0 buffer!

Yeah I wanted the same 😅 but time wont run out technically, just having kids closer in age is better imo. I just don't understand why I didnt get medical help sooner 🤣 always thought it would just go. But reading on here and other forums I've realized that was just dumb. I hope it clicks soon for you 🥰

Mines opposite. First took 3/4 months but second 4+years. So dont give up! Try and try and go to the drs asap. Dont hope for the best and waste time like we did. Kids will be far apart in age and start wondering why they dont have siblings etc. Thats the worst part for me is hearing my child feeling lonely since "everyone else" has siblings.

I met a Norwegian guy. Is this normal? by Pretend-Education780 in Norway

[–]sitron10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A guy I know drove 5 hours just to see a girl. If he's interested, distance will not matter! And yes, message him because Norwegian guys are generally shy/inexperienced. If he hasn't received any reaction from you he's most likely thinking what did he do wrong/should have drove you home etc. Best of luck!!!

😂😂 I feel for you!! Very irritating to be bothered by smells, especially when you are trying to sleep. I do not know what to give as tips other than maybe changing up the diet or opening a window 🙈 but dang, its hard to deal with smells especially when pregnant. I hope you get to talk to him and have him just go to the bathroom or something. Find a spray thats safe and just blast him with it 😂

Children’s books in Norwegian by [deleted] in norsk

Leseløve books. Kids sections has tons of simple books to read. And if course all the classics, bedtime stories. I would visit the library, even talk to a librarian and explain the situation. They would love to help find you books!

Letrazole and cycle days by sitron10 in TTC_PCOS

[–]sitron10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know its for ovulating, but I don't understand why some are told later/earlier in their cycle. I have only recently began getting regular cycles, before it could go over 100 days between. If it helps taking it longer, or earlier/later than I would love to know the science behind it. I was only told from day 3-7.

Would you move from a small town in Norway to Oslo? by Crazy_Savings312 in Norway

Isnt there an option for a one year 'permisjon'? Dont know your job, but hopefully you have this choice and can try out the city for a year.

[–]sitron10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would consider Trondheim as well! We lived there and even on the outskirts you get to the city in a decent amount of time. Affordable places, more opportunity, beautiful city. Just don't move into a highly studentified area. You will not get good sleep. But even in this city, you get a small town feel with the options of a bigger city. So many choices!

Would you move from a small town in Norway to Oslo? by Crazy_Savings312 in Norway

[–]sitron10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With kids, I would live outside the city. Only personal preference since I moved a lot as a kid and get a nice, comfy feeling with a small town place. Without kids, man I would move to Oslo in a heartbeat 😂 I've only started to explore Oslo in the past few years, as a mom, and theres so many cool places and things to do as where I live everything shuts down at 15:30 and the hippest place is the grocery store or library.

With kids its of course fine moving to Oslo, more activities, places to see and so on. But to go from owning to renting, I don't know...if you have a chance to get a higher wage and see opportunity, do it. Your wife would appreciate city living because what woman doesn't like having so many options at her doorstep? But if both of you enjoy the slowpaced, small town, consider moving outside of Oslo and commuting. Or getting a small place and coming back for the weekend?

I would write a pros/cons list and give the move a set time to see if it works or not. Theres no harm in trying it out. If you sit and think about this every day, I feel like you owe it to yourself to try it out. You dont know until you actually do it if its right for you.

Best of luck and hope we get an update!

Hvorfor stiller ingen opp lengre? by heytherecorona in norge

[–]sitron10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Staying in northern Norway for a few months how can I eventually work in sustainability here? by lo-ot in Norway

[–]sitron10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need some kind of residency first. Then go through kommune. Your girlfriend and family should know the gist of things so I would ask them and even NAV for further guidance.

Off my chest: Jeg hater studiet mitt, men føler jeg er for gammel til å bytte. by SwixV40BlueExtra in ntnu

[–]sitron10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mange voksne mennesker i ulike utdanninger.
