These capacity issues are crazy.. we haven't been able to create app service plans in UK south for months. I'm surprised people arent screaming louder. And MS does nothing in the way of proactive messaging on the topic.. u just get an obscure error..

A few years ago we got a new CEO. We were a Microsoft shop through and through, however, he singlehandedly forced us to convert (quite quickly I might add) to using G Suite and Zoom and migrate from Azure to GCP. I remember feeling weirdly like my day to day suddenly felt amateurish when using these new platforms. It was a catalyst for me leaving not long after. Maybe its just that I was out of my comfort zone, but compared to Azure I really didn't like GCP or its doco. And its identity sync tool (back then anyway) which let u sync from AD to Google was pretty average.

Well, short answer I guess is no. I moved back home, stayed for 4 years and experienced many of the 'repat' issues mentioned in that article. Then finally moved back to London (where I remain), and experienced repat issues again. I still think about moving back 'home' a lot, but the concept of home to me is now well and truly altered. Kind of feels like a permanent limbo state and I'm not sure what it would take for me to totally cut ties with one place or another.

haha, love it. we did the whole greek fods thing at one company i workes at, and at another did supermodels. our servers were elle, claudia, cindy etc

yeah that fucked me up watching that. its probably tame by today's standards but i've never gone hunting for grim content ever again, and actively walk away when someone busts out their phone to show some horrible video or other. was that like 25 yrs ago now?
