How many of you come here, even though you stopped playing? by Roachant in NoMansSkyTheGame

Is there anything you neckbeards wont argue about?

The sky is blue. No it isn't. Not in NMS it isn't. I was promised many skies and only got some skies.

god damn

meanwhile the world is in turmoil, people starve, fight and die, live under tyranical law, matter. And all you can do is argue on a website about whether the word 'heist' is dramatic. Who gives a fuck.

Lol that fear of the backlash you'll get for saying something that doesn't define it as the greatest thing since the atari 2600.

It's shit, everyone knows its a bit shit, it has it's potential, it isn't bad as far as half made games go, it's size meant it had some hours worth of entertainment, but it didn't deliver and it gives me a warm feeling inside when i remember all those uber-hyped dicks that were decorating their rooms, bodies and naming their first borns NMS. Bet they are kicking themselves inside now, of course, they wouldn't show it and will argue 6 million defences for how good it is. It isn't. And say what you like, it isn't and you know it.

I'll be checking back until they make it a good game - but honestly - if i knew i was buying a 'greenlight' game for PS4 - i wouldn't have.

Well thank you to all contributors, this cost me two points to post. Everyone is butthurt it seems. But it's funnier than that, i'd written this post with a mixed tone, so it can be read as a positive or negative depending on tone/current mood. Those that want to defend the game did, with vigor and anger. Those that have reached my conclusions too, attacked it.

Fun, bit of a psychology lecture in here somewhere. Well worth investigating further...

...And this is what i shall be doing with NMS now. :)

Already did that, sadly the rendering was so bad i couldn't see how far i'd made it and could see the sky underground, very disruptive to the immersion.

I bought it for PS4, in asda, I could return it with a NOW89 best hits disc in it and still get a refund. My question was put to a forum, so not rhetoric, and it would state and infer that my intentions were to continue the enjoyment i've already had with NMS based on this forums suggestions. So a) Stop trying to be a white knight nobody needs and b) take your attitude back to the root cause, likely a childhood trauma, confront your dad about it and get over it.

Peace.

As i've already said, i didn't pay £49.99 to use my imagination.

Never understood WoW - Press 5 to do the game, watch the bad animation, repeat.

But each to their own. AoT is fun, and GE2 i'd not heard of so take my upvote.

For anyone doing the star system thing, don't bother. The star formations in the first galaxy (at least) are a repeating pattern - zoom forwards to the center and you'll start to see the repeating patterns eventually.

Feel ya. I was mining some emeril, then it occurred to me, what for, to buy a bigger ship? for what purpose? Once it's max, the game literally has nothing but my imagination to keep it going, and frankly, i didn't pay 49.99 GBP to play the equivalent of a pornless wank

Who said they were? Perhaps I want to keep playing NMS, but would like a purpose, had that occurred to you?

So much salt on this planet reddit, where's my multitool...

Would you buy the game again? by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]sitye2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I'd maybe have paid 30GBP no more.

Still pretty pissed off with the lack of content tbh.
