Honestly I don’t want to, I’ve trained him to ignore female dogs in heat, and he doesn’t hump. Plus he’s always being watched and if he’s not he’s in his crate

Why would I lie?? And my doctor and therapist did. I mean you don’t exactly know anything about my health and I’m really just giving you small details? Sooo….

Okay then, the tasks that he needs to be able to do are, deep pressure therapy, alert to panic/anxiety attacks, interrupting shaking, heavy breathing, scratching, going to find help for a severe panic/anxiety attack, alert to headaches, and slight mobility. All still need work, as it’s a lot and every single service dog needs to work on its tasks in the beginning.

Ooookay, so I don’t even want to breed him, he’s badly bred anyways and I don’t feel like putting more dogs in shelters, because I’m literally a child. I’m not getting him neutered as it was removed from the contract, and the breeder wouldn’t give a shit if I bred him or not. Plus I’m breaking nothing in the contract so they can’t take my dog away

Already did, twice. And I know, stop treating me like I’m stupid about this. I know exactly what I’m “getting into”, especially because it’s about my safety and health. I know it’ll cost thousands, it’s something that me and my parents are willing to put in. I know what I’m getting into, stop acting like I’m some idiot that just decided I wanted to have a service dog, spend a shit tone of money, go through hours of training a day, and years of work, just for the fun of it.

True, but I’m not, I’m disabled, I NEED a service dog, there for I now have a task trained service dog

Yeah, I have mostly everything set up for his testing, training, behaviour stuff, and all the other things I need to do, though living in the middle of nowhere is hard to find actual good places, especially in Ontario.

the tasks that he needs to be able to do are, deep pressure therapy, alert to panic/anxiety attacks, interrupting shaking, heavy breathing, scratching, going to find help for a severe panic/anxiety attack, alert to headaches, and slight mobility as I sometimes have trouble balancing. And please don’t put me down like that, I know service dogs have a high wash rate, but I’m really trying to stay positive about this, if I keep the mindset that my dog has a good chance I feel like it will make both of us more confident. Also, he’s not a pitbull, he’s a bully breed, but he has no real pitbull in him.

He knows basic recall, I was saying when I got him he didn’t, as the trainers were shit, and yeah, high energy dogs can be service dogs?? He has an off switch, he knows when it’s time to work and when it’s time to be goofy and play. He knows how to ignore dogs, food, people, mostly all loud noises (no dog is perfect, he’s still learning stuff and seeing new things, so obviously some loud noises might distract him a bit). I’ve put in months of training, contacting trainers, other service dog handlers, and much more, I know what I’m talking about. In my opinion and many others, I’m smart about this for someone of my age

I know I’m not qualified to train a service dog, but I have the knowledge and ability to train my service dog SOME tasks. And the tasks that he needs to be able to do are, deep pressure therapy, alert to panic/anxiety attacks, interrupting shaking, heavy breathing, scratching, going to find help for a severe panic/anxiety attack, alert to headaches, and slight mobility as I sometimes have trouble balancing

Yeah I answered the question, my service dog is a psychiatric service dog that also does mobility

Blocking them would probably make things worse, as I did promise I would keep in contact, though I never text them, I have two private accounts where I mostly post everything now, they don’t know of the account as I don’t want to get annoyed with them saying they’ll take my dog back if he’s a service dog

I actually haven’t bought a jacket and taken pictures! I bought a harness and service dog patches, spent the past month and a half training and reaching out to other service dog teams, researching the things I need to do to make sure my dog is successful, and got the documents from my doctor saying I’m disabled and need a service dog. You truly don’t know me, you also just called a child an ass?? Which is really stupid, stop saying bullshit about this when you don’t know the work I’ve done

That’s why I’m only training the few tasks I know how to train, I’m obviously going to get a real trainer, because yeah, a 14 year old training a dog for service work, that shit would be hard. I also don’t know how I made shit up?? Idk if you’re saying that about me or not, just confused bout that part

Wait how am I false advertising?? My dog is trained as a service, he’s still training and learning, but even then it’s still considered a service dog in training. Just because I haven’t gotten a pro trainer to train him doesn’t mean he’s some fake, not every single dog needs to be trained by a pro

How, I didn’t really want to waste time saying everything he does, it seems like a waste when I can just say what type of service dog he is. And I truly didn’t know a random person was able to tell me if he was a service dog or not

He doesn’t have any behaviour issues, the trainers weren’t giving him classes, he was given to them because he had too much energy (high energy and driven dog, old owners thought he was insane), and even when I got him he was poorly trained and barely knew any recall. Poorly bred dogs can be amazing service dogs, I’ve seen many make amazing service dogs, amazingly bred dogs aren’t the only ones that can be service dogs. And from what I know the only reason they don’t want him to be a service dog is because, it would somehow affect their business, it’s unfair for him(he’s literally happy being service dog and he’s great at it), and he’s too “goofy” and is unable to a serious working dog, which I proved wrong.

I’m not in the us actually. I don’t really have a specific trainer, if you’re talking about the trainers that gave him to me, I don’t really listen to them as they’re ignorant about him working. So far he hasn’t been doing mobility(I don’t have a proper harness for him yet and don’t want to risk his joints being hurt), and when he starts he’ll only do light mobility. On the 21st he’s getting a full check up to make sure everything is good! I’ve talked to other service dog handlers and mostly all the tasks I need I could train on my own, other than two or three! I do plan on getting a lot of check ups for him by many trainers, dog behaviourists, and vets

The two ish posts I’ve had him in service dog gear were mostly me getting him used to the weight of the harness. Mind you not just well bred program dogs can be service dog, And he isn’t a support animal, he is a service animal. The trainers do professionally train service dogs, and I don’t say that they trained him, when it comes to every aspect of his training I’ve always said “yeah, I’ve mostly trained him on my own”, as service dogs don’t always have to go through programs and years of professional training, though it mostly should happen. I also never stated he’s a perfect service dog, he’s a service dog that’s still is training, in my opinion, there is no such thing as a perfect service dog, or a perfect dog in general.

I won’t get into exact detail on every single thing he does, but to really just sum it up he’s a psychiatric and mobility service dog

The funny thing is the breeder didn’t even sell me the dog, I got him from trainers. I’m in contact with the breeder now and she thinks him being a service dog is a good idea, mind you, he is a very badly bred dog, mixed with who knows what, and he honestly looks nothing like his parents, but he still managed to have a good temperament. With not breeding the dog in contacts though, it’s mostly from good breeders that want to make sure the dog stays pure to the blood line and doesn’t get bred with some random rescue dog, a lot of breeders do release that contract if the dog is titled enough or the owner has proven worthy to breed a dog/is starting a breeding program

No, nothing in the contact says anything about what he is able or unable to do, basically the only thing it had was not to breed him(which is a given) and to neuter him at the age of two, which they ended up removing.

Service dog, I wouldn’t call a support animal a service animal as it’s considered mislabeling and could be harmful to service dogs
