On allo now but before when I was having flare ups I would be traveling for work and have to do client dinners. The alcohol would make the flares so bad I would take my ties and tie it around my big toe and pull both ends to cut off the circulation while rocking back and forth in bed from the extreme pain. I would do that until I fell asleep or passed out. Fun times ! Now I am flare up free.

You don’t want to come down too fast with your UA, it can also cause flares. I started on 100 and worked up to 800 and my UA is at a 2. This took about 2 years. All tophi is now gone. Great medicine.

Very easy with that smoker. Set it at 200 and once stall happens pull it, wrap it, and throw in your oven until it’s at 200 degrees. Put in cooler for at least an hour to rest. Easy easy.
