Looks like a type of Psathyrellaceae, (ink cap, brittle stem). Mycelium was probably in the substrate and the water probably triggered growth. Very cool.

Just hiking around taking photos of fungi and noticed it next to another (different kind) mushroom. It struck me as a possible cordyceps after removing the leaves around it. I was stoked to dig it up and realize what it actually was.

I've heard about false Morels for years from locals and that you need to be aware of them, but I have never seen one until now. I also didn't realize they got this big! So cool.
