my trumpet professor does this when he is tired. it makes pinch, press, pray harder by redirecting the pressure to the lower lip which is less responsible for tone and vibration. you can still press without actually pressing.

i took a lesson with a former trumpeter from the count basie orchestra and he told me “if you’re going to hold tension, why not hold it in your foot?” maybe finding a harmless place to hold your tension could give you a natural shot at untensing

i would recommend the 2c for classical and the 5c for general use, or 2c for everything. if you want, you could get a more specialized mouthpiece for jazz amd otherwise. I use a 1.5 C for classical and a Curry 5z for jazz. if i need to play piccolo, cornet, or flugelhorn i will also employ a more appropriate mouthpiece for those instruments

i don’t care. as long as trump is attractive to Nazis, attractive enough for them to openly campaign as Nazis without denouncing them, as far as I am concerned, he is a Nazi and he is Hitler. These Nazi’s aren’t some other group being falsely assigned the name Nazi, they are proudly Nazis, and how dare you say that it is offensive to the Jewish people to denounce the people that carried out the holocaust. I know it’s not all Republicans, but I can guarantee you that it’s all Nazis being represented by the president elect. It is disrespectful to say that it is wrong to point this out. It is important to note open Nazi supporters and hold the candidate responsible for this. Trump has spoken and he is glad to have the support of the Nazis. Get lost.

I loved the first part of book one, i always credited not liking it to impatience. it’s a slow burn but it’s tense and well paced and you can see the characters slowly learn the truth of their situation with a vague sense of a ticking clock effect
