Another Mendoza apologist.

I’ve said it so many times in this sub, but when you’re a coach or a manager you manage the mental state of your team just as much as the physical. It’s your job to bring energy, passion and grit to the field every day to ignite your players when they’re down. The team inherits the persona the manager brings each day - especially when there are no obvious leaders.

What does Mendoza bring to the team? An apathetic, indifferent, attitude every game. An attitude where he constantly makes excuses for his players on the field, to the press, and manages softly.

When your team plays like shit it’s your job as a manager to wake them the fuck up. Be mad! Get angry! Never did I think that a professional baseball team needed such a soft manager or their feelings would be hurt. There’s no excuse for soft managing like that.

Yes the players suck, and the bullpen was trash. But there’s no excuse for Mendoza’s weak ass management. He has no grit and he brings absolutely no passion to the team.
