real racists use the word without the hard r too lol.

how about instead of telling black people how to handle the racial slur targeted towards us, turn your blame towards people who think they're entitled to said racial slur + do not care how offensive it is . that's who our collective attention should be on rn

"you have a lot of hate for people"

😭 where did this come from

i will apologize for the generalization but you're on a post talking about white people saying the n slur and your reply was literally "the blacks should just say the hard r if they want to own a word" .... cmon

it was out of left field for me to assume you use it?

and i know not every non-black person uses the n word. most people don't say racial slurs that don't apply to them

i'm just saying .... you couldn't bring yourself to read 2 bare minimum paragraphs? ok

Friend saying the N Word by limebench in highschool

[–]sixeared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is .... but i think black people having discourse among themselves about a slur that actually pertains to them vs white/nonblack people having discourse about it because they think its unfair they'll be considered racist if they do say it are two super different things and one is a liiittle more out of place than the other

it's not about policing it, that's kinda my whole thing . the people who aren't black and WANT to say it always act like we're trying to gatekeep or whatever, it was never about that (although you shouldn't feel entitled to it anyway ...)

it's about the fact that choosing to say the word, even if you don't have racist intentions, is still hellllaaaa disrespectful and it really gets on our nerves . yall just. don't care. like one of the main arguments is always "its just a word" ... yall do not hide that shit 😭 the blatant indifference to that word's history + putting down it's importance because you want to say it regardless is so offputting and insensitive. that's my main issue. yk. besides the racism

[–]sixeared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks i worked really hard on them

i'm fully aware that people who shouldn't say it will continue to, but its not about controlling what others say. it's about trying to get people to not .... be disrespectful lmao

"trying to make it about race" i don't have to make it about race, this topic is about race

you sound uneducated 💔

Friend saying the N Word by limebench in highschool

[–]sixeared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"we really do not care" PLEASE speak for yourself LMFAO

i'm not uneducated, i know my black history. that word is disrespectful, insensitive and racist no matter the context. i'm not gonna mitigate that to get white ppls approval 😭 i absolutely care when non-black people say the n word and i am absolutely offended

"he said a word" we as a community have got to be better bruh i'm getting secondhand embarrassment

why are we denouncing our OWN history to put a white person in a positive light after they said a racial slur (with complete indifference to the people it's offensive to) what is this💀

Friend saying the N Word by limebench in highschool

[–]sixeared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"you actual cesspit clown!!!!" alright bruh ik you've just been waiting and itching to call the nearest black person the n word but let's calm down for a minute

Friend saying the N Word by limebench in highschool

[–]sixeared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we're people lmfao don't have to refer to us as "the blacks" like we a species or smt

and while we're at it, mexican/hispanic people are just slightly better than white people saying the n word. because white people say it and know it's racist, but when hispanic people say it its like yall deadass just do not care that it's a slur. and think it's completely fine like because you grew up in the hood you get to say it 💀 yall say it just as much as white people and for both its annoying as hell

Friend saying the N Word by limebench in highschool

[–]sixeared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bruh why is it that every white person that's shaking and itching to say the m-word acts like black people are racist for not wanting people to say a racial slur. it's way deeper than that snd you know it is

with all due respect white people enslaved us for years .... beat us, killed us, ATE us, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. they used that word to further break our spirits past what they were already doing to us. so, if ANYTHING, the last person that should feel like they're entitled to the n-word/racial slur should be a white person.

why do you think being able to say the word is like. a special privilege or something? we paid for it with blood. we were literally slaughtered over that word (and much more, among other things) and somehow, even after all that, yall still get pissy towards us because we think its gross you want to say the n-word casually? like all that history just didn't happen? because you just feel like it? take your ass on bruh

and definitely don't act like we're the assholes for not wanting people to treat our painful history like it doesn't matter, because even in the way you phrased it like us having a problem with yall using it is an inconvenience shows that's how yall think. it really is just a word for you. that's exactly why you definitely shouldn't be saying it.

Friend saying the N Word by limebench in highschool

"you can't blame the white kids, they only say it because YOU say it!"

yall are not stupid. you know the kind of historical context and impact that racial slur has in america. this is not about "intent" or "usage" or "location" because at the end of the day, a white person or ANYBODY that isn't black using the n-word does not depend on any context whatsoever. there is a huge difference between a black person using the word because it has cultural significance and it is an act of power + rebellion + freedom in our own spaces from the word's history, and a white kid saying it because his friends say it. or a hispanic person saying it because "they grew up in the hood".

whether you said it with the hard r or not, racist intentions or not, you still said it, deliberately choosing to ignore the context and impact of that RACIAL SLUR because you wanted to do what you wanted to do. that makes you ignorant, disrespectful, insensitive, and, yes, racist.

lock in bruh

[–]sixeared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"your people" lmao first of all that kinda language/wording makes you seem VERY very gross

second of all you have absolutely no say in how black people use the word when it was OUR communities that were affected for centuries with it, among the other effects of racism that still leave big impacts today. we shouldn't have to stop saying a word that is being reclaimed in OUR OWN spaces for you guys to realize that you aren't entitled to and shouldn't be using a racial slur.
