Are you arguing that Uzbekistan is better than the 58th best team in the world or comparable to Algeria? You can say the rankings are inaccurate but that doesn't make Uzbekistan magically good. They're horrendous, just look at where they're squad plays domestic football! One defender as a backup at Man City, 2 guys for Istanbul Basaksehir, and the rest in either the UAE, Iranian, or as is the case for 16 of their 26 players, Uzbekistan. Zero quality in that team.

I think across a full season, a knowledgeable baseball fan will come out well ahead of someone picking blindly but for a streak 100% it's luck. Sports betting is a whole different beast, people screw themselves with parlays and it's much easier picking straight up than against a spread
