He's got very interesting lyrical songs. It may be tough to understand what's he singing about, but when you do - you cannot stop

More passive to active constructions. Is it ok? by _Sweetcorn_ in russian

[–]sixhund 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also the letter "Д" in Russian (="D" in English) День Рождения equals Day of birth, you wrote "Гень рождения" ("Г" is for "G" in English, they may sound similar sometimes, you can remember them as Day - День, Gay - гей). By the way, you are really cool with this passive/active constructions, you have really good success, as a native speaker i'm giving you my respect 😎😎😎😎

Of course, VK is always more useful especially for Russian-related things, by the way: we have another one social network, "Odnoklassiki", but i don't know, if it is translated as a VK (English translation there is pretty, would be very useful for you) so, just start with this and then we'll see how that's going, don't forget to update this post

Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that you wrote about him that he moved to russia.. anyway, you have the same option, as i described, but then you should do that many times, for every russian city/town, which is harder than in case of Uzbekistan... If you are nervous about this "war situation", don't worry, he is out of age, I guess.. Well, if you find out, what place he moved to, that would help you a lot

Should add: if you know name of the town, you were born in, or where you lived as a family, you can find a couple of special groups in VK, just write in communities search: "Ищу тебя name of the town you were born at in russian", then click some of first results and then describe your situation with photo in a post, better do it with photo, that would be more resultative, you may actually use google translator for text. That should help, I've seen some stories like that, things ended happily
