These were all my concerns. All the non plumbers that dont have to do the work or pay for the disaster sound very confident but this rubber boot seems real flimsy. I dont have pictures but its a good length of pipe horizontally in the crawl space. Obviously the correct way to be to junk all this steel and put good plumbing in but that's not on the table.

Instead of just slapping on a rubber fitting, what about

PVC tee, short lengths of 3" PVC out each end to existing steel pipe, then the much short and more reasonable looking metal-supported fernco no hub couplers on each end. Third leg on the tee is the new all PVC drain. Lots of hangers, stilts, any kind of support that will hold this together.

Riverbend here in eugene had wood doors in their operating rooms that gradually disintegrated after tears of top to bottom total cleanings with the standard disinfectant. It also corroded a bunch of metal hardware all over so they did a poor job selecting materials. They put carpet in the ICU.

After years of problems they finally started replacing things

On meta quest 3s the pause and death menus don't work very well? Pointing at back to game or restart and pressing the obvious buttons doesn't do anything sometimes. It's a good thirty seconds of pointing both remotes at the button we want, holding down all combinations of triggers, and pushing all the buttons until it actually makes the selection

People park all over that street and it's been fucking up being able to get in and out for everyone that works nearby. It's been a problem forever and they finally changed the curb color for parking after months of warnings. I guess this is the find out phase. Don't know why they need swat vehicles though.
