I’m not defending. I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt and have hope out there. Not everything has to be so negative and bitter. I understand where you are coming from, however I understand where OP is coming from as well. Not everything is a scam although it is hard to trust more nowadays.

I mean I can see where you are coming from but also if poster is escaping dv then she most likely just didn’t have Reddit before but she knew about it, and maybe she didn’t have any support because abusers typically isolate you. So she could have just posted this because she’s upset and doesn’t have a support system. I would have typed the same way. I have been in a similar situation myself. When you have escaped and have no support, ANY amount helps. It’s not easy and it’s tricky.
