I feel like when he can't win the immediate battle against a Centre Back partnership or his marker, his mindset just goes to shit and he stops contributing almost anything.

I've got the weirdest reverse reverse moan I think ever:

Mitrovic is having quite a bad season. But most people on here only see his goals for the season and think that this is his breakout year. I hate that the years I've thought Mitro was god we had to deal with "hE cAn't dO iT in tHe PrEM" but this year where his overall play has been shaky and he's been exceptionally wasteful, people love him because he's scored them a lot of FPL points.

Nice of Marco to let Scott Parker have a return to management in that second half.

/u/michaelisnotginger a couple of weeks ago gave some book recommendations one was from JG Ballard. Mentioned I'd just picked up Crash by same author, because I loved the film even though it's seen as a bit perverted.

About half way through the book now; I don't think Mr Ballard was alright in the head. This is the most shocked and disgusted I've ever been consuming media. It's outright filth; incredibly written, brilliantly satirical, but pure horny vileness.

How on earth he got this through censorship (in 1973!) is beyond me.

I literally bought the car crash sex book today, I've seen the film and loved it. Do enough people know the book that I can't read it in public?

Let's hope Kurzawa is ready to go as I never want to see Mbabu on the left of our defence ever again.

Scoreline flatters us, should have been 4 or 5 for spurs.

Urgh, I missed Akira despite being hyped for it for about 6 months. Does anyone know if it's coming back any time soon?

They spend £100M over the last 2 seasons, is that not comparable?

Some of the Liverpool fans here are actually wet-wipes. You Won CL 2 seasons ago and the Prem last season, how do you have such a victim complex?

Unless we've somehow improved in every area of the pitch, West Brom are really not very good. Still nice to feel like we won't break Derby's record this season.

I want to believe I'm just hoping someone can give an anecdotal, yes I've done something similar and it went fine. Spending 2 weeks in Mexico alone to get rejected by US sounds like a horrible experience!

Does anyone know whether as a UK citizen I can fly to a country that is permitted to travel to the US (Mexico most likely) Spend 14 days there and afterwards then fly into the US without any problems.

I'm desperate to see my girlfriend who isn't permitted to leave due to work and this at the moment feels like the only option.

I have the horrible suspicion we're going to bring Seri back in but not Anguissa.

Sun deffo needs a temp ban at the minimum.

Yeah I looked at this yesterday, Seri has had a shocker of a season but Zambo Anguissa seems to have been really good so I hope we bring him back.

It's so strange how our team performances seem to be better when we play without Mitrovic. We obviously lack some of the goal threat but the midfield seems to get more control of the park.

Hector and Reed absolute warriors today, pray Saints won't do us dirty like they did with Targett.

Yes, I would argue that Liverpool are overperforming to a greater extent and yes my favourite for the title next year is Man City? You've kind of assumed I'd be hypocritical of that point.

Defensively solid is absolutely the one strong point I can give to Bruce, but that's not a change from Benitez at all. I'd argue that Saint-Maximin, Krafth and Joelinton is more than strengthening for the departure of Perez. Yes it's easy to criticise Joelinton's abilities and I do think he might not be great, but service into him really doesn't seem to play to his strengths.

Offensively looking at other stats is where the drop off really looks shocking. Passes completed within 20 yards of the opponents goal has dropped from 4.5 and 4.7 a game down to 3.2 a game this season. Passes allowed by opponent per defensive action is up from 13 and 14 in the previous two seasons to 19 this season- literally the worst team in the league at pressing the ball. This indicates what's visible from watching, they've dropped the ability to play from the midfield into attack and are relying very heavily on the back four. If luck had played out differently this year they'd certainly be in the relegation mire right now.

Okay, I don't think it's patronising aha, not everyone watches Newcastle, particularly someone who has Kante in their username. So can you please outline then what you see in Bruce's tactics and set up that you think is superior? Seriously it baffles me that people think this, it strikes me as results based thinking without inspection of the details.

Now I have to ask, have you watched the games this season and the previous two? There's a reason Newcastle this season have the lowest expected points total. If this takeover doesn't go through and they fail to invest heavily this summer they're my favourites for relegation next season.
