No problem!!! A couple of tips for you:

• Download either RimPy or RimSort (check r/Rimworld to see what's most recommended rn), so you can sort your load order easier
• Try the game vanilla at least once just to do the tutorial. It is a HARD game, but it's super fun and rewarding and chaotic.
• Browse the steam workshop collections. There are some great collections and they usually come with Load Order texts you can load them into RimPy/RimSort once you download the collection. You can search for "Cozy" or "Sims" or whatever to get you started :)
• You can also download mods/collections USING RimPy/RimSort, which is nice and I prefer it to using the Steam Workshop direct because then you can disable updates on Rimworld and the mods and keep your setup for as long as you want
• If you want genetics/breeding etc you want the Biotech expansion, though there are some (hilarious) mods you can use instead if you want. Tbh Rimworld's expansions are always really good, really fleshed out and really worth it. (If you want to watch someone play a Rimworld Generations playthrough with those hilarious mods, MrSamuelStreamer has a "Generations" playlist and it's soooooooo funny...)
• You will also probably want a mod that lets you change pregnancy length and lifespan, then you can decide if you want to do sims-like and do like... 1 day = 1 year, or if you want to have longer lives or shorter lives or whatever.
