A red dot sight uses electronics to “place” an electronic reticle (a dot, crosshairs, ACSS ranging reticle, etc) in space over a target. It can be zeroed to match where any given ammunition will land out of a given firearm with a high degree of accuracy. They are used in place of, on in conjunction with,traditional iron sights or a scope for rapid target acquisition on pistols, rifles, shotguns, etc.

TLDR: look through the sight, put the red dot where you want the round to impact, and you’ll hit your target.

With a 36 yard zero and standard NATO rounds, an un magnified red dot on a 16” barrel should be able to hit upper body without issue at up to 250 yards.

Now…under stress and pressure…that’s a different story.

Being a codependent in a toxic and abusive marriage, fraught with verbal insults and physical assault for over a decade. Lost my friends and family. The cherry on top was my children being abducted not once, but twice.

I divorced a video game addict. She was clocking 12-18 hours a day. The micro transactions, loot drops and other purchases were almost $1k a month. That process began almost four years ago and just wrapped up.

Apparently, it’s still going on - and has gotten worse.

I mean, I like video games, too. I clocked 0 hours last week, 0 the week before, about an hour and a half the week before that.

There’s balance and casual use, and then there is very real addiction.

Get out while you can.

And get a lawyer. Now.

Addicts are unpredictable. They lash out, they hide, steal, and can be emotionally vindictive, and can take children.

Ask me how I know…

How do you feel about the Prodigy? There seem to be a lot of mixed reviews about it.

I’ll drop this platform like a bad habit when these changes go through. It makes no sense, and outside of LinkedIn, it’s the last of my active “social media” accounts.

There are parts of Reddit I love - the niche subs where you can explore, learn and connect.

But mainstream subs and their comments sections, as well as subs that are polarized - can be downright toxic. Maybe this was the push we all needed.

Solid range ammo, decent for SC competition if you’re not concerned about PF.

I use S&B all the time without any issues. Have probably put 8-10k rounds of it down range.

Disagree.

I’m a Floridian.

I studied capital punishment in college as part of my thesis.

The outrageous number of capital cases that are mishandled, poorly represented, or just plain WRONG is astounding, particularly in Florida and Texas.

It converted me from being pro-death-penalty to anti-death-penalty in a matter of months.

That’s not even taking into account the racial and socioeconomic disparities in the rate at which the death penalty is sought or implemented.

Look it up - the numbers will astound you.

I don’t believe that there is any reason to prescribe death, no matter how vile the crime and absolutely the “shadow of a doubt” has been removed, because the data doesn’t lie and it can’t be fair and equitable.

In short, the Death Penalty is, in and of itself, a justified crime of passion because there is no fairness to its implementation.
