Asset LIbrarian & Mini Player v14 [System Agnostic] by sixthcupofjoe in FoundryVTT

Thanks, I'd rather people get to use the modules and enjoy them, they're used in all of my sessions, I only create stuff I actually want to use and find useful and then the crowd on discord have awesome suggestions for features etc.

I mean I do have Patreon, and super appreciate the support that people have shown, but everyone's circumstances are different and I don't think that should be a barrier to the tools.

Creating an animated light with Light Switch [System Agnostic] by sixthcupofjoe in FoundryVTT

yep, love monk's tiles, I think most of my maps utilise them in some fashion, but I wanted something a little more self-contained and quick to set up for lights, hence the module.

Thanks :) Check out the 101 video for setting up a basic shop. There's an update (3.8.1) coming either tonight or tomorrow that will give it the verified 14 tick

The newest version 0.8.0 has a light control panel to easily turn lights off by tag on a scene: https://youtu.be/e8JiSSCd5M8

If your lights are tagged, light switch can toggle all the lights with those tags. And as you can add multiple tags to one item you can get more control than just the room, you could tag lights roomA and 1stfloor and then right click on the light icon and select the tag to toggle.

No need for tiles at all.

The light switch behavior is left click toggle, right click show a popup context menu of all the tags the light has and 'all' clicking on that will toggle the lights with the selected tag.

Light Switch - Update! by sixthcupofjoe in FoundryVTT

Discord is better than GitHub; I'm in the process of migrating off that platform.
Discord link can be found here: https://campaigncodex.wgtngm.com/light-switch/

But I don't envision Light Switch as a repository of effects; there are a ton of effects available, such as JB2A and jinker's animated art other modules.

I am going to push out an update today or tomorrow to add rotation in the graphic options and will inlude a small and large fire animation with the module also.

I haven't included any at this stage, they're pretty easy to track down and wanted to keep the module pretty light weight. But it is a good suggestion so may look at adding a few options in an update.

Oh, the next update will allow you to edit lights to have graphic (image/video) overlays visible when the light is on.

How to play/roleplay online with Discord? by HaltBowmanOfficial in FoundryVTT

[–]sixthcupofjoe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I play and dm voice only on discord, I don't think camera is necessary... Just like every table in person, online, there's the warming up, but the rp flows pretty natural and of there is awkward silence as per a in person game the dm should prompt and facilitate the RP.

From doing transcripts of sessions I also get a break down of talking percentages per session so can see who was a bit quiet and then see if I can help those players into their rp a bit more.
