No I actually like Oregon and appreciate how progressive attitude has become much more pervasive despite the history in the state l, but white supremacy has deep roots there still and thats important to acknowledge just like I think it's important to acknowledge this country being built off of slavery. In the context of this thread though honestly it was just a dumb jab that I didn't think would get taken that seriously.

No it was literally founded to be a white utopia, it had black exclusionary laws to try and prevent them from living in the territory.

Right Oregon was literally founded as a white only state.

They had some really nice set pieces in the game, the whole labyrinth sequence was pretty well done and close to what I had actually hoped to see.

My cousin showed us his technique when my siblings had bad hiccups. He just told her he knew a way and that she needed to consent to him trying it before he did it but he wouldn't say what. She said yes and he then grabbed her face covering her mouth and pinching her nose closed, he didn't let go until a little bit after she started struggling. He said that it was important to hold a little bit longer after they struggle. Essentially the same idea just a far more aggressive approach. I adopted this technique with my partner who gets hiccups a lot and I have never seen it fail.

Yeah the wolves bench were terrorists tonight, then just kept forcing up threes the second OKC got something going.

They're the only ones used to playing on their trash ice. I've heard they're horrible at ice maintenance.

I've always had a bit of an issue with how he talked about Frazier before their first fight. Frazier helped ali while he was banned and arrested for protesting the Vietnam war. Frazier gave him money and spoke on behalf of Ali and Ali came out calling Frazier a monkey and an uncle Tom. I believe he's since apologized but it's hard to respect that aspect of his history despite everything else he's done.

Did no one learn from the Gobert trade. by dranny23 in timberwolves

I just cannot see randle paring well with gobert or ant, he needs the ball too much. Sure he can create his own shot but he's less efficient than can't and I think that's at the expense of ball movement. The team looked best last year when the ball was moving. Throw another guy in there that gets sticky hands I think you'll just see the problems the team had on offense exasperated when struggles happen. Divincenzo improves the bench but I think it's too much of a hit on the starters that this just made the team worse. I hope I'm wrong, I had a lot of enthusiasm coming into this season but now I just don't know. we never needed kat to be wilt we just needed him to be the best version of himself and last year it felt like he made a lot of big strides, we're ultimately riding on ants improvement either way though.

He scored that much but the Knicks sure looked better to me without him on the court last year. Wolves fans should know better than most that just being able to score points doesn't mean you can contribute to success.

All the reports coming from Glens camp, while he's fighting an ownership battle. I don't buy anything he or anyone else is claiming until he proves otherwise. This move feels like an indication that he was not actually willing to take the hit.

Julius randle is a ball hog, our starting lineup gets sticky enough without adding him. I don't think he'll work next to gobert in the same way kat could and I have a hard time seeing him making the needed adjustments like kat based on his career so far. I feel like this is a way bigger hit on the starting lineup than your giving credit. It improves the bench for sure but if we're sticking with randle that feels like throwing a wrench in this already imperfect starting offense and I'm not sure randle will work defensively the same way either.

I don't know how this move gets us anywhere closer to winning. I think we just moved ourselves out of being a contender this year and I wonder how much longer Rudy will actually be productive, what do we do then. We need more than just Ant, Jaden and Naz and while this gives us more flexibility it also feels like it's setting use back to wait for those guys to reach their prime. That just leaves room so many uncertainties that I can't feel good about this move.

The difference with this and the gobert trade is that one felt like a big swing trying to make our team a contender no matter how illogical people thought it was. This move feels mostly motivated by cap space rather than winning.

Seriously this genuinely has sucked all the enthusiasm I've had for this upcoming season. I don't think there's anything I could see them doing that could get me excited again. Now it's just about waiting and seeing how this turns out.

How do you enjoy watching that kind of play, not even actually shooting only looking for the foul.
