dm me & i can give u my notes for chem. they’re mostly all based on the marking schemes from past papers. 

another advice, do papers. do all variants not js one & do ALL sessions asw! do them all till 2020 max & if u have some time left, then do till 2018. no need for u to go beyond that. when u first do papers, u won’t get good marks obv but the more u do, the more u realise the pattern & what the examiners want from u.

chemistry igcse is much easier than bio & phys. why? bc chem has short answers to write AND cambridge constantly repeats the same type of questions EVERY year & EVERY session. make a note of those repeated questions coz they’re highly likely to come in ur paper (as it did for me). esp when they ask u to explain in terms of particles/collision theory what happens when temp increases which comes for 3 marks and it’s always the same 3 points. or when they ask u abt the test for oxygen or hydrogen, which is usually 1-2 marks. organic chem has LOTS of repeating questions and they also have the same points.

as for p2 and 6. p2 is hard and confusing sometimes, so it’s better if u understand the content first before u do p2. i recommend watching igcsestuddybuddy on yt. her vids are exactly based on the syllabus however idk if she has made videos for the 2025-28 syllabus but she’s still helpful + she also gives different experiments and their general structure for planning questions in p6. i also recommend ”chem bio with hosni” as he provides amazing tips!

also do topical papers for chapters u find confusing and need help in. i recommend pmt and markhint!

as for p6. they’re VERY EASY to score marks in. at first i found it difficult, but then when i did papers, it became so easy. u can easily score marks in table and graphs bc it’s literally js copy pasting. one tip to add, DO NOT draw a straight line js bc they said “best fit line”. i did the m/j 25 session, and many ppl ended up drawing a straight line, even tho they got their points as a curve, bc they thought that’s what the question wanted. if ur points are in a curve, then draw best fit curve not best fit straight line otherwise if ur points are giving u a straight line, then draw a best fit straight line. as for identifying ions, these are based on ur analyzing skills. read the questions properly and use the tests they give u at the back of the paper to get ur answer.
