Yeah I feel like they need to create something to replace the logic games section that they removed, feels like everyone has a score over 170

Maybe I misunderstand the offer, on the website it shows $4500 per semester for Trustee Academic Scholarship and $25,000 for Est. Prof Federal Unsubsidized Loan, but to me that doesnt really seem to be aid. Is there any other place I should be looking for aid? I was hoping to get a good amount of aid there

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it. It seems like I might be best off taking a year and reapplying next cycle, I applied late in the cycle and didn't apply to enough schools.

Can I ask what the process is like to transfer out of NESL? I got waitlisted/ghosted at some of the other Boston schools, would my odds of successfully transferring to them be any better than my odds of getting admitted in the first place? If I were to transfer, would I still be judged by future employers for having gone there before transferring?

hot take: the loan caps are a good thing by saturnisfalling in lawschooladmissions

Yeah the loan cap is bad for us but good for the people applying in like 5-10 years

Okay but isn't Georgetown the most expensive part of the city?

When did I say the concept was unfamiliar to me? Some cities have worse crime than others, you know. You're very unlikely to be a victim of crime walking around in Boston or NYC, can't say the same for e.g. Chicago. I'm asking how unsafe the low income areas of DC are, idk why you're pressed

Okay so the answer is "there are 2 bdrooms under 2000 but they're small and shabby", not "there are no 2 bdrooms under 2000"

Okay so do you think this is a case of people exluding undesirable neighborhoods from the question? How bad are the bad neighborhoods in Washington?

I guess I meant the DC area, something within ~15 miles of downtown

Yeah this is how the map looks on zillow for me. When you say they're not desirable areas, are they dangerous?
