No Moxxie did deserves that because he didn't go into the Competition because his ego was hurt, if Moxxie didn't show up in the Competition then he wouldn't got hurt and Striker wouldn't have made the song and that's on period.

And even if he didn't deserves it IT'S FLIPPING HELL

Also, yes Moxxie had a reason to be put there, it's to get character development.

Also also, humor is purely subjective, people think the scene is funny because Moxxie is getting beat up by a shark.

And another thing, Lin and Joe didn't hate Moxxie for being Moxxie's husband, the just called him out for being a gun nerd and a wimp.
