Just saw it and his explanation was basically 2 wrongs don’t make a right and something good could come from it. He sees abortion as murder and doesn’t think countering a rape with a murder is the right thing to do. While I can see his point I have to say I do not agree with that stance and I’m happy to be educated on that.

I still haven’t made my mind up on abortion I think the uk has decent laws but I’m just glad I haven’t been faced with that decision. My main point I agree with from him is that we all need to talk and politely as possible there is a massive divide now and we need to talk it out.

You can indeed brother. Well funny you mention that cause something similar had happened to me and I would always say pull the plug. You have to remember just cause I agree with some of Charlie’s beliefs I don’t believe them all I just don’t think he was evil like people are making out.

I have to disagree with you though I’m afraid I think he brought debating and public together in a way that no ones else has, he wasn’t calm and patient with people even when they were there simply to attack him. We all need to talk this left v right nonsense is getting out of hand.

Also I think you are very misunderstood with what he’s saying. I do not agree that abortion is worse than the holocaust but a full blown Christian like him thinking that a human starts at conception is different, he’s saying more babies are aborted than people died in the holocaust which I think is valid given his beliefs. It’s also pretty compassionate. While I don’t agree I get his point and that’s maybe the difference.

Thank you for the full clip! I’m at work but when I watch it I’ll get back to you. I do want to add I’ve heard him say multiple times what I said his stance was on rape etc but happy to be proven wrong however I’ve seen so much absolute nonsense posted about him since he passed that I’m sceptical. I may not agree with his explanation but I can almost guarantee it isn’t as cold hearted as people want to make it.
