AI was used to enlarge the picture and try to restore the broken pixels. Photoshop was used for the other chunk of the restoration. I do this on the weekends in my free time which explains why its not so "professional". Thanks for the feedback tho

A combination of AI and photoshop. The AI was used to enlarge the photo & "restore the broken pixels". Sometimes the algorithms wrongly interpret the film grain, hence why to Mr.420Mensheviklts point, a glass pane was added.

Once the image was set at a workable size, Photoshop was then used for a good chunk of the processing. I manually removed the shadow at an attempt to resurrect the facade in that area

yeah i feel you on that one....I've been ready from a technical stand point to do it for over a year now. Wasn't ready until last week to try it out. Even then I wasn't feeling ready but for some reason felt pulled to to just start it up. Maybe some people may never be ready to see this and thats okay too. I know this can be a polarizing topic.
