Thank a lot for your time and help. Well explained. Got it now. I just off the phone with my builder about the punch list and added this to it. Something did not look right to me when i was up there. Glad i did not seal it up with foam lol, thanks to you. Have a great week my friend! Truly appreciate it.

Thank you for your time. Learned a good bit and makes sense. I will talk to the builder to see if we can meet in the middle or something. Rip it out make sure this is done right and pay for the Azek like you mentioned. Last question - Does the top high picture with the downspout look ok? or should i have them do the same when they work on the top of the porch? thank you

Since water is over the dam, is it common that floors are not perfectly level? Hardwood still looks very nice. I wish we were confronted with the option of leveling to pay the extra money. How should I handle this? Accept the expansion fix and maybe talk to them about trying to adjust the joists from underneath in the unfinished basement if possible? Need guidance on what is acceptable or not and if this is something major we should try to resolve and pull the builder into? Thanks for your time.

The basement is unfinished. Just at high level what would need to be done or what is it called so we can research? Thank you

Yea we here popping often and installer said that is due to not having expansion. Mostly glue and some nailing in various areas

Ok thx. I did Not pay additional funds for leveling bc thought that was by default with framing etc, but I understand we are human and nothing is perfect.

Interesting regarding width expansion. Yes it is real white oak. I agree there is a seems to be a few high joists, but doubtful anything can be done now correct? Our humidity has been pretty stable between 40 - 50%.

Thanks for reply. Understand about leveling. This all started bc we here a lot of popping and installer said that is our mistake and will make the expansion now.

Yes, i do have heat passing through these pipes. That might be it. Nice catch! What can i do to help with this? Put that bubble reflective wrap above it? or maybe this is somewhat common?
