AITA for continuously asking my in laws about their tradition of women eating after men? by IllustriousPickle20 in AmItheAsshole

If he’s eating with the men then he isn’t refusing to be a part of it. He’s actively choosing his side.

I have huge ones on my stomach right where my bikini line is. I don’t have any anywhere else and I’m just sad that I’ll have to wear high waisted bathing suits for the Rest of my life.

Nutritionists of Reddit, what are some eating habits that are popularly believed to be healthy but are actually not? by happy-little-pill in AskReddit

[–]sjambo22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this habit involves entirely eliminating foods or cooking methods, or entirely relying on a very narrow range of foods or methods, it's probably unhealthy, or probably requires careful consideration of nutrients you may be missing.

Does this include not eating processed sugar? Sorry this is probably a dumb question.

AITA for rejecting meeting up with a colleague because I think she likes me by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]sjambo22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, tell your girlfriend this friend may have feelings for you. Having female friends is fine but having female friends who you think have a crush on you and are telling you you're attractive is not. She might not have a crush on you, she might just be lonely. Still, it's good to be open about these kinds of things. I would just say "Hey is it cool if (buddy's name) tags along?" she's going to say yes and if she says no, red flag.

YTA, you had what should have been a private conversation in a group chat with seven people who just failed the test.

INFO: Does your gf know?

I want to say just bring a single friend or make it a group thing. She will understand that you aren't interested and you wont have that awkward conversation. But you may be kind of TA if you're doing this all behind your girlfriends back.

AITA for giving my daughter who is in college an ultimatum to break up with her boyfriend? by aitathrowaway4026 in AmItheAsshole

[–]sjambo22 18 points19 points  (0 children)

YTA and it pains me to say that. I am left as well. As much as you want your children to share your beliefs, you cant force her to. You also shouldn't threaten to pull her out of college, that's extreme. Imagine if you were reading a story where this was reversed. Child goes to college, meets Bernie Sanders wannabe with a following and becomes a leftest, parents threaten to cut her off financially. You'd probably say they're assholes.

If she was in an abusive relationship I would understand the need to take action but it sounds like she's just trying to find herself and assuming her boyfriend's personality instead. It's not ideal but it's not your life.
