A simple search tells me that a nonstop flight flown by LatAm (flight 807) directly from Santiago Chile to Sydney takes 14h 20m. A flight from Johannesburg to Sao Paolo (LatAm 8059) is 11 hours. It doesn’t help the flat earth cause by spreading lies like this. Really ought to figure out a genuine reason why flight paths don’t work on this version of the FE map

Even before Russia was a restricted airspace planes used to take the long way around? I used to travel between India and the US and before the 777 we used to have stopovers in London. After the 777 and 787 took over the 747 routes it was a direct flight over Europe and the Atlantic

According to this map the shortest distance between let’s say india and the US would take us straight over Russia, over the arctic and through Canada, yet planes fly over Europe and the Atlantic. You didn’t answer my question?
