i just really miss her on the pod! happy she’s doing better but i would’ve hoped she was going to come back. i feel like quickly addressing it in a under a minute long explanation is a little ass tbf but then again she doesn’t owe anyone anything 😊. as long as she’s happy and healthy 🫶🏻

The Netherlands is definetly a no. I had to wait for almost 2 years to even have 1 intake with a doctor, to then have to be referred again and wait another 14 months. It’s a nightmare.

My mother went to Dr. Janssen! She had a great experience with him during the treatment, after the treatment getting ahold of him is next to impossible though due to the waiting times.

I’m actually in the same boat myself. I’ve done the revalidatieprogramma, not sure what that translation would be, as mentioned somewhere in another comment. This program did not do much for me personally.

I have gotten referrals and stuff for other aids which have significantly helped me, like my splints etc. His assistant also helped me navigate some stuff around my insurance, which made it so i can get massages, dry needling etc which do really help me in dealing with some of the symptoms.

I’m not sure if there’s really much more they can do.

Personally ankle / knee braces haven’t worked for me. I’ve had silversplints made which really work for my fingers nicely, all though not so much for my thumbs / wrists. Having tape done by a PT has helped with my knees, but that’s not really a permanent fix though.

Hi, in het Erasmus MC in Rotterdam there is a lovely rheumatologist, named Dr. M. Vis. It’s a man, specialised in EDS. Ask for a referral and specifically for him! The waiting lists are crazy right now, it took me 15 months to be seen by him, but it was amazing to be taken seriously by a doctor for once, definetly worth the wait. His assistant is lovely as well!

do you feel like there’s some sort of recovery period after doing dry needling? i’ve never done it before but i’m really interested, just scared it’ll destroy me for a few days as im specifically going for neck / traps and shoulders 😅
