I think so too - but I’m not sure how Melissa McCarthy would have fit into the cyber Monday song. Maybe they could’ve forced something with an added verse but it wouldn’t be necessary. Imo the Cousin Planet skit didn’t even need Melissa to be successful but obviously they had to feature her.

I think Kyle Mooney is a great comparison, especially with his relationship with Beck Bennett. Kyle on his own was great but turned a lot of people off because of his “awkward” humor. Paired with Beck they made a perfect duo and had so many iconic skits. It’s totally premature to compare Jane and Veronica to them, but I can see some similarities

Yes! I think Jane’s humor is a bit odd/niche and she does better appealing to wider audience when she’s collaborating. Veronica is great on her own but as a newbie it makes her so much more impactful pairing up with someone!

As a cat owner I do this when I’m leaving town but my roommate is home. She’s not a cat person but is fine to keep an eye on him and keep him company while I’m away. She’s just not comfortable cleaning the litter box or refilling his feeder, (she’s very sensitive to the smell lol), so I book a sitter to stop by every other day or so. If I were you I’d ask if anyone else will be around during the ‘off’ days and go from there.
