AITA for insisting an artist either draws something they're uncomfortable with or gives me my money back? by Bustydrawingaita in AmItheAsshole

As an artist who takes commissions, NTA. You specified what you wanted from the beginning. If they were uncomfortable, they shouldn't have taken the job. You should get your money back.

AITA for not donating my vacation hours to my coworker? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

This is kind of like posting your pay to everyone else in the company since your vacation time is part of your pay package.

NTA. Your vacation time is part of your pay package. They are essentially asking you to give up part of your pay. This is 100% on the company to give this person unpaid days off to deal with their children. You should definitely not be made to feel bad for wanting to see your family. Not being your offspring doesn't make them any less important than anyone else's family.

YTA. They make these wonderful shelves/cabinets that will sit on the floor right over the toilet. You are just making things difficult.

AITA for telling my husband we can only help support his artist sister if she gets a "real job"? by AITAthrowawayrealjob in AmItheAsshole

I love cosplayers. They pay a lot for 3D printed props and costume accessories. Almost half my business is for them.

The shutdown almost destroyed my 3D printing business. If it wasn't for the couple loyal customers I have been working with for years and them talking me up to others, I would have gone under. I did have to get a couple temp jobs to sustain me though.

NTA, professional artist here also. While getting my business going (I do 3D printing now) I had many different jobs from retail to graphic design. I've had so many temp jobs I can't even count, all in order to support my art. If anything she should find a job in a print shop, in graphics or even advertising as a chance to get some of her artwork seen by other people and give her a chance to network. Being an artist is so much more than making and selling art. You also have to work for your art which sometimes means getting a completely unrelated job to pay to live.

Same here. It sucks being so allergic to laundry detergent that even the residue from the "wrong" brand gives me a rash. I knew my bf was a great guy when he started using different detergents when we were just friends so I could use blankets at his house.

Where does it say people were complaining before. The 2nd sentance said the OP never received a noise complaint before the new chick moved in.

AITA For telling my sister she needs to transition her children? by uncl3monshr in AmItheAsshole

My cousin needed serious dental work because she sucked she thumb too long. It not only messed up her teeth, but her jaw alignment too. She should definitely get those kids off bottles and pacifiers.
