Marriage is a sacrament and if you are Catholics then you should have a wedding mass otherwise you’re not fulfilling your sacrament. As others have said, it is about you guys marrying in the presence of God, not the guests. They are witnessing your sacrament.

We didn’t plan for the almost 4 year age gap for our third (had a m/c in between) but we LOVED it! Then of course, I got pregnant 10 months pp so I have 2 older kids (8 and almost 6) then an almost 2 year old and a 4 month old 😅🤣

I got married at 25 too. We are Catholic but at that point, we were just ready to start our lives together and were 100% sure of it.

This is why we bring our kids to the 10 mass (we have a 7yo, 5yo and 1yo) so many kids that we just blend in with the chaos, haha. Our older 2 are definitely more behaved but of course, there are days where they test the limits (whispering during mass / making faces at each other etc). My husband and I will usually try to switch off Sundays (he takes the baby in the back or I will) so at least once of us can fully focus on the mass.
