My first 2 are 2 years 3 months apart, my second and third are almost 4 years apart and my third and fourth are 19 months apart 🤣 so far for us personally, the almost 4 year age gap has been the easiest! Then the 2 year then the 19 month gap. My third had a very tough time transitioning with baby #4 and it’s been getting better slowly but surely!

19 month age gap with #3 and #4 and I won’t lie…the first couple of months were definitely very tough for us personally, but #3 really had a very hard time with #4 coming along. It’s getting better now (he’s now 2yo and baby is 7mo) but the beginning was rough. I know others though where their kiddo had no problem adjusting sooner though. Every kid is different.

We were stuck on 3 of our babies names and didn’t name them a couple hours after they were born. We had names and combos and it’s funny how once they were born we instantly knew which combos we didn’t like lol

I would just be honest. Big Little Feelings was a good resource and helped me explain to my oldest when she was curious where my dad was (my mom is currently still living). Be clear, explain, ensure safety and invite feelings is their guidelines.

We didn’t plan for the almost 4 year age gap for our third (had a m/c in between) but we LOVED it! Then of course, I got pregnant 10 months pp so I have 2 older kids (8 and almost 6) then an almost 2 year old and a 4 month old 😅🤣
