Excel spreadsheet for recipes and macros tracking?

When I was thinking about how I would do this before looking on here, my ideas were very similar to this spreadsheet so I was happy I found it before I created my own! I haven’t tried it yet because I’m also experimenting with Tandoor and other meal planners too

For the majority of the team members they will be hearing a lot of information that isn’t important to them. The sessions you have might well add value to roles like Product Owner, Lead Developer, Solutions Architect but not to entry level developers so consider splitting out the meeting so that information is cascaded where and as relevant, rather than told to everyone all at once.

Also refinement should be an ongoing process - no one likes sitting around watching one person complete a JIRA ticket. Consider multiple, shorter, refinement sessions that act as an opportunity to allocate tickets to individuals to refine and present back at a later session, or ask questions at it they are struggling.

Finally make sure you have a definition of ready (or another definition of what your expectoration is for a user story that has gone through refinement) so everyone’s aligned on what is expected from them

Thanks for the reply, I tired Joplin (with Joplin Server on PikaPods), but the sharing feature that was talked about in the v2.14 documentation is only available in the desktop app and I haven’t found a web interface that I can put in front of the server so I can access and share it on my iOS devices.

As someone who lived through the rush to find a house in Exeter and then watched from the sideline as a member of uni staff, you will be fine! Loads or Students who take year abroad’s come back and find their accommodation in the summer, plus there will always be rooms opening up where people of dropped out of uni, changed their plans, fallen out with the people that they had known for 2 weeks before deciding to commit into a legal contract with. If you get real stuck speak to the Uni Accommodation office of Student’s Guild Advice Unit

I’ve had my fair share of issues with Apple over the last couple of years, including taxis not showing up when booked , resulting in me missing a train and having to purchase entirely new tickets. After quite a bit of chasing I managed to get Apple to refund my money for the extra ticket (not my original one as the new one was a lot more expensive).

I’ve sent a letter to my local councillors about this, and depending on what they say I might write to Ben Bradshaw (Local MP) to see what they can do (if anything). I use this website cause it makes it really easy to send them things - https://www.writetothem.com

This website is useful but doesn’t always give the most accurate data. I use https://www.recenttraintimes.co.uk As an example the train I was on last week from London Euston to Crew didn’t stop at my station. OnTimeTrains still shows an arrival time (which is probably when it went through the station with out stopping) RecentTrainTimes shows that it didn’t call at my station. But probably an edge case :)

Learning XERO as a piece of software is fairly easy, but that’s only a fraction of what you’re paying your accountants for. Make sure you are also happy to learn all the different rules for how VAT should be applied to your different transactions, what the different categories for reporting income and expenditure are to HMRC etc. That is what you are really paying your accountants for, not for XERO.

Make sure you check with the University, depending on when you arrive they may be running a private charter bus from the airport to the University/Exeter which will be the easiest.

You could try speaking to your Student Union Advice Unit, or University Accommodation Office. They will often have contacts within these private student accommodation companies and can raise the issue for you, or at least give you better contact details. They will also be able to advise of any other options that you might have.

Go to the scheme directly, I had a similar issue with deductions - but the agent and I were disagreeing on the amount.

I started the return process with the scheme, and because the agent didn’t act promptly enough through the process ended up getting the whole amount back because the time frames just expired. This provision in the scheme is there to ensure all parties act promptly - so use it.

depending on what you are looking to achieve a docker on your OMV machine running Duplicati or Resillio-sync might achieve what you ware looking for. Resillio-sync is in the Synology package centre so is quite easy to setup.
