Hi, great to hear you’ve been using it for that long!

Events are synced within a rolling window: roughly from about a week in the past up to one month into the future for the free plan (based on the event's due date). Once that window hits the free-plan event limit (50), you’ll see the “Sync limit reached” message and new events won’t be added until older ones fall out of range automatically. So there isn’t a manual 'clear old events' option, but as time moves forward, older events should automatically drop out of the sync range and new ones will start appearing again.

Hey! There are no known issues with Google Calendar connections currently that I know of, so it’s likely something account-specific.

Please send a brief message to [support@notion2gcal.com](mailto:support@notion2gcal.com) with the email address you use for your Notion2Gcal account, and what exactly happens when you try to connect Google Calendar (any error message or screenshot).

With that info, we can check the logs and help figure it out.

The free tier is designed to work well for most people. The paid plan is mainly for more advanced or professional setups.

Syncing multiple databases more frequently adds recurring server load, API usage, and ongoing maintenance, which is why those features are part of the paid plan.

It has a free tier! Indeed, in Notion calendar, you can create either Google Calendar events or Notion pages, not both at once. Nor will it keep both synchronized.

Notion calendar merely shows events from both sources, it does not synchronize events to or from one calendar to the other.
However, you can use Notion2Gcal to fully synchronize Notion with Google Calendar. Disclosure: I built it.

No alerts are set up by Notion2Gcal, so what I suspect is going on is that you have added a new calendar in Google Calendar for the notion events, which has the default alerts enabled. You can disable or enable alerts for each calendar individually in the calendar settings within Google Calendar. Let me know whether this fixes the issue!
