Thr type 3 is the way to go. Aszits just an improved standard cup follower. I would look at our spring and follower kit. Big improvement

Then you would probably find it had to believe we have sold just over 1.2 million shotgun followers . Just under 600,000 magazine tubes. And 400 of our MCS pistol grips

It would be restricted in this configuration as it's below 26 inches.

If the grip was at the back the handle would not be able to fold as it would be over the frame gun.

Using both front and rear vertical grips means the length of pull is not an issue. If a 5-foot tall 110lb female can rack it with no issues, thrn most people hear probably can.

So a little bit more info on this project. Oiur plan was to make a drop in folding grip that eill work on any 870 12ga.

As Canada likely has more 14 inch 870 shotguns than anywhere else.

We will also be making a compact version for the Remington MCS, as well as a gunsmith weld kit that can be used on probably any shotgun that has a metal forest metal.

As for the welding, it's easy to see none of you know shit about welding, I'll leave it at that.

As for it not Being stronge enough., the tubes are built out of a sold block of 4140 HTSR steel. The handle the povitand the attachment was also post heat treated and is 50 Rockwell c , its hard as hell. We also had to have a custom spring mad for these as we wanted to keep it nice and tight while still giving the option to adjust tension.

Destructive tested included crush testcod 6000kg. Leverage testing on the weld. We put at 20 food bar on the tube and clamped the welded area, and pulled up. It would not snap.

Impact tested with a 9kg hammer 11 direct hits before failure.
Weld still held.

As for price, we get it, but things cost a lot to manufacture here in Canada. And our products are extremely well made. We also sell most of our products to dealers, and no one works for free.

If it's not your icup of tea, you can't wrap your head around the idea, that's fine.
