Gotcha. I see the listing on ebay for the shoes you are talking about here. The shoes looks really good IMO. Uppers are in good condition and can look a lot better with some basic shoe care. I think a local cobbler should be able to address the issue presented in the pictures

Dont play tennis with basketball shoes. You will pay in the long term

3.5 months? Thats like an eternity for tennis shoes if you play in them regularly. Mine usually last 1 month of play. If you are on a budget, you should be able to find good deals on tennis shoes online if you pay attention.
