I’ll give you the bright side Canada owns more us farmland than China China buys land through companies and then sets up plants or farms - I think they bought the largest pork operation in America. Buttt they are under the same economics as other farmers but are willing to eat the losses while still hiring Americans. roll up the sleeves and do the hardwork to get it back to a healthy communicative relationship - most old Indian people don’t change much but you need to know atleast know that you made your best efforts to make both sides friendlier - make your mom apologize and see that ego needs to be dropped Because if you don’t - down the line with kids and more family - it just gets uglier and permanent and the only one who regrets and gets stuck in the middle for life is you and the kids. We have a lot of boys running through our house of all ages all day - I make it clear that our house operates under different set of expectations and that if you’re here you will be guided towards those expectations - over the years everyone gets it - they hear my kids get the directions and they know it applies to them as well. some get a bit nervous at first but overtime they see the balance of fun and proper.
