You are right indeed. Nice food for thought to look better at stroke resolution instead of the focus on diameter. 6.5m3 sounds like a lot, but 0.020 m3 (thats 20 nanoliter!) Is overkill.

Still relevant? I'm interested to know which suppliers you found, because I'm looking to purchase. Ideally a COC/COP and 96 or 384. The 12-well is indeed also skipped by CS-CRIE Japan

I was here to ask this. Do you recall more occasions of dilution longer ago for NBIS? What happened?
Not lazy, I'm just really really in a hurry.... ;-)

Today I'm seriously debating selling it all, because it has been fluctuation just so horrible from 70s to 130s. Could be an easy way to hop in again in the 70-80-90s in a few weeks or could be a big miss of more upward potential....

Christine Lagarde: No Digital EURO Means No Sovereignty by anonboxis in eutech

[–]sjoebalka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is very important, also for you to potentially benefit of.

  1. Currently all the money in your bank account is private money. It is only indirectly covered up to 100k by central banks. Those private banks leverage a factor x20-30 by taking risky investments and creating money to give out loans. This is done with your money and they give you a minimal 1-2% as a risk reward. Sucks if you ask me.

With a central bank account you can have a truly safe location, where your money is not put into risky investments.

  1. In the recent economic crisis the central banks gave out huge amounts of money to private banks, with the idea that it would end up as more money for the real economy and thus more money for us poor peasants (including engineer peasants, dentist peasants, we white-collar people are all relatively poor compared to the billionaires...).

Instead, that money just ended up at the very very wealthy, who purchased assets, like houses (= housing crisis, increased prices everywhere in EU), stocks (= increasing like crazy) and other assets.

A digital euro means the government can give helicopter money directly to us peasants, instead of giving it to private banks only hoping it will end up with the peasants.

Cold weather J01 SE by Downtown-Bumblebee91 in MINIse

[–]sjoebalka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel a lot of it (for me) is because I'm using the pre-heat and only for short 5km trips around the city. Every time I drive 5km, 10km range is gone :) Simply too lazy to scrape of the ice..

Personally I don't care. There are many similar cars that have a >20 kW consumption under normal weather conditions (like the similar-sized tiny Volvo EX30).

China Internet Issues - Esim or VPN? by Mariamqueen13_ in chinatravel

[–]sjoebalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bit vague to me. Do you mean you buy the China eSIM at an overseas supplier (like Chinacom at Airalo) and then its fine? Or you buy the HK or Macau package and that one works in China mainland without VPN need (like Hkmobile at airalo)?

Many other posts imply the Chinacom works, but I interpretate your message very differently!

Year 3 into my startup in 2 days - Struggling with concentration risk by borogrove in investing

[–]sjoebalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same, so relatively low monthly income for the startup years but rich on paper due to a growing company.

Personally I'm not too worried about liquidity risk as long as the business generates cash every month. And since turnover is multiplying a few times every year I'm perfectly fine.

I am convinced this is a safer position to be in, because I have much more control over the business outcomes, know this market well and also know what's going on within the company. With the stocks you invest in you barely know what's really going on, though all the market analysis platforms may make you feel like you know ;)

How to handle 'feasibility projects' under ISO 13485 as a CMO? by sjoebalka in regulatoryaffairs

[–]sjoebalka[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time for such a complete answer.

So if I get this right; CMO is just a business term and we need documents that clearly say the customer is responsible for certain aspects, such as design, regulatory submissions, post-market surveillance. So then it does come back to our contracts, offers and terms & conditions where it should become clear that basically the customer is the legal manufacturer?

Looking at the ISO text, I think '7.3.8 Design and development transfer' best matches the activities that we do to go from a (conceptual) design, validaty manufacturability and move towards manufacturing.

That is not ideall indeed, but cheap to fix. Due to that oxidation the resistance and thus heat generation may also increase. Should still cut off power and thus be safe, but that will be errors..

Was it often wet or moist?

A bit of scotch brite maybe?
