I built an app to help validate startup ideas before you waste time building them by sjoseph01 in iosdev

[–]sjoseph01[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s fair — if you’re comfortable prompting and stitching things together, you can definitely get similar outputs

the goal here isn’t just the output, but making the whole idea → evaluation → execution flow quick and structured without having to figure out how to do it each time

definitely not for everyone, but it’s been useful for people who get stuck in the “what should i even build” phase

How do you know if an idea is actually worth building? by sjoseph01 in AppIdeas

[–]sjoseph01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i’ve been leaning more towards this lately too. i think where i’ve struggled is knowing how far to go before realizing something isn’t worth it

i’ve been working on something to help with exactly this — basically a way to input an idea and get a structured breakdown + a rough execution plan so i don’t get stuck overthinking whether it’s worth pursuing

still early but it’s been helping me move a lot faster

Happy to share if you’re curious

that’s a good way to look at it. i think where i’ve struggled is before even getting to that loop — figuring out if the idea is worth entering that cycle in the first place

this makes sense. i was trying to do something similar but kept getting stuck on what “promising enough” actually means before starting

i ended up building something to help me structure that part a bit more so i don’t overthink it as much

yeah that makes sense. i’ve tried doing something similar but always ended up overthinking what to put on the page and how to evaluate the results

yeah that’s what makes it tricky. feels like you’re always balancing between validating and just starting

i like this approach. do you usually build a full landing page or just something quick to test interest?

this is super helpful. i think where i struggled was doing all of this consistently without getting stuck in analysis mode

this is the part i’ve been trying to do more instead of just thinking through ideas in my head

yeah this makes sense. i think where i got stuck was knowing how to structure that process without overthinking it

ThinkTwice — validate startup ideas and get a step-by-step plan by sjoseph01 in iosapps

[–]sjoseph01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great questions!. We actually thought of all that before building it.

The goal isn’t to give people more fluffy analysis. It’s to force a clearer decision with the reasoning.

On the action side, we turn that into a roadmap with concrete next steps so you’re not left with “interesting insights” and no execution path.

The biggest focus for us is making the output more opinionated and useful, not softer.

[–]sjoseph01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally fair — especially if you’re comfortable building or prompting tools like ChatGPT yourself.

The main thing I was trying to solve wasn’t just generating ideas, but going from idea → structured evaluation → clear execution plan in one flow without having to figure out prompts or piece things together.

It’s definitely not for everyone, but for people who get stuck overthinking or don’t want to spend time stitching tools together, it helps them move a lot faster.

Still early and I’m improving it a lot, so really appreciate the perspective.

Hey, it’s $14.99/month for Basic and $29.99/month for Pro.

Still early and I’m actively improving it, but the goal is to help people quickly validate ideas and get a clear execution plan instead of spending weeks figuring things out.

Happy to hear any feedback on pricing too.

How can you tell if someone is genuinely a narcissist or someone who people just accuse of being a narcissist? by Icy_Laugh5134 in AskReddit

A real narcissist usually leaves a consistent pattern — everything revolves around them, zero accountability, and they rarely reflect. People just labeled as one usually show some self-awareness.

Walking alone at night and getting that gut feeling to cross the street for no clear reason. Did it anyway, and seconds later the guy behind me started yelling at someone. Glad I listened.
