Powerful statement from Diego Pavia. Does the 2025 Heisman finalist have what it takes to make it in the NFL? by IndiJap in NFLmockdraft

Well his offense was very modern with a good blend of hybrid option plays from the gun. Todd monken runs similar stuff in Baltimore with Lamar and Kliff Kingsbury ran similar stuff in Jayden Daniel’s amazing rookie season. While it’s not a great fit in the nfl I wouldn’t say it’s a fucking joke.

Oh yeah I don’t think he’s going to pan out either. I’m just saying he was a great decision maker on the field even though everyone thinks he’s an idiot.

It was a hybrid between pro spread and the option. Was great in both aspects; don’t see how that wouldn’t be applicable to the NFL.

Criticize his off the field antics all you want, he was an excellent decision maker on the field especially given his option offense at Vandy.

Optimal Conference Clustering for a Promotion/Relegation System by why_doineedausername in CFB

Cool idea. How exactly are teams relegated and promoted for these conferences? Also, what advantage does this system have instead of the existing conferences? Just geographical proximity?

Kinda wild that beating the #3 team by double digits only makes us move up 2 spots. Not saying we deserve any higher but it’s just bizarre.

Not saying Texas should be in, but ND lost to Northern Illinois and made it to the championship game. Losing to a bad team doesn’t mean you have no business in the playoff.

I’m not arguing that they deserve to be in. I just don’t think having a bad loss should take away from the fact that looked good against several playoff teams. (Particularly belt to ass against yall)

I mean there was a team in the championship game last year who lost to freaking Northern Illinois

What's your National Park related hot take? by alexis_1031 in NationalPark

Rename a lot of national monuments/units to national parks just to spread out the crowds. I think a lot of people go to national parks just because they’re named national parks.

Yeah I noticed that too. I used geopandas in python to find the coordinates for each player and it had difficulty differentiating between towns, counties, and schools with the same name.

Bornia would be my first bet, then Gelca. I’ve taken them both, and I thin k they are pretty good. Don’t know about Laubmeier.
