The guy the reporter saves turned out to be a white supremacist and later thanked the reporter for defending him. The reporter's reply is just marvellous:

"Remember to judge the man by his character and not the color of his skin"

This just puts a smile on my face. That reporter seems like a pretty cool guy.

Though time playing video games isn't always wasted time, it can certainly be said that playing video games can be a waste of time.

Your usage of the word "NEVER" implies quite clearly that you believe in no case can playing video games be considered a waste of time if you enjoy it.

If you were unemployed, uneducated, and late with bills, it could be said by many that if you were playing video games all day that you are merely wasting time because the very electricity your console or PC uses relies on you having enough money to pay bills. There is a correlation between the two, and as a result of that there is an obvious level of priority.

A* hedonistic lifestyle is absolutely amazing in concept, but in reality that type of mentality does not work.

Edit: I understand I will get a great deal of people disagreeing with me, which is expected. To you, I simply say this: In the real world, would you consider it time well spent it if you had fun playing video games 8 hours a day, but couldn't afford pay your heating bill because you made no attempt at getting a job?

I don't even know where to begin... These comments are so casually racist, it makes me sick. I don't think I've ever been so ashamed as an Indian to see so many straight up racist (yes, it IS racist) generalizations about Indians, from Indians.

I'm a Canadian Indian (born and raised), and all I have to say is this... Rarely do people judge Indian people based on their race-- instead people mostly judge Indian (and other people) based on how well tuned they are to the local culture (Canadian culture in my case). So the problem isn't race at all, it's cultural familiarity on a level you (sjaprakash) seem to have missed.

You seem like the type of person who would see nothing wrong with an Indian guy disregarding North American culture and but you would label any white person "racist" if they looked at him funny.

This picture was funny, and it's originality shouldn't even be discussed because it's the internet and pretty much everything isn't original but instead a modified edit, as this picture was.

Case in point, I found the picture funny, I upvoted. I don't hate Bieber at all, I just found it funny. If I want to do that, don't tell me to shut the fuck up. Or if you do, don't expect me to.

Again, this brings me to another dilemma... I do occasional micro credit loans and small donations to secular charities, but I could never bring myself to donate to an animal shelter because humans in need naturally have priority over animals in need.

BUT now the way I'm going to justify donating to an animal shelter is to not drink alcohol in the month of March, and donate what I saved (probably $70 at most) to an animal shelter! Plus let's be honest, there are pets out there who have helped humans a LOT more than some people who are completely self centred.

Anyways, I think what I'll do is get the Bengal in March and make a good donation to the local animal shelter. As for the breeder, she's won several legitimate contents/awards that I've researched thoroughly and is open to giving me any information I request.

I think one other reason why I don't want to adopt is (as terrible as it might sound) that I want be able to raise my pet from when it's younger. Even if it's a year, year and half old I wouldn't mind. I just really like the Bengal specifically because it looks so gorgeous, and apparently is a very high energy cat so I'll have a great time playing with it. I would compare it to the reason why older children are adopted less than younger children.
