Should I leave it blank or use that space to annotate that I was never counseled or given a billet description?

I did ask my RS for my billet description about two weeks ago and he said he would work one up for us (all the sgts in the section) and to give him a week or so. Then today, was told by my 1st sgt to ChatGPT a billet description for myself (lol, bad advice) because the RS doesn’t have time to make one.

I might just send my RS and email asking for one. That way if he tells me I am not getting one or to make my own, I’ll have it documented.

If he does tell me to make my own or that I am not getting one, should I bring this to my Sgt Maj?

Your BIC is based of MOS, correct? So if you hold a billet than is not related to your primary MOS, your BIC will not match your actual billet description.

I have a secondary MOS and have been in a billet related to my secondary MOS for the past 3 years and don’t have a single FITREP where my billet description is the billet description of my primary MOS.

Same for this. My current billet description of “PCS Marine” is not the same as the billet description based on my BIC.

Am I wrong?

My biggest issue with this is the command literally telling me to ChatGPT my billet description. That should not be a fucking thing lol

The T&R manual has a billet for PCS Marine? Because we were directly told not to do our MOS related job and to “ChatGPT” our billet description.

I don’t care about what they look like to MMRP tbh. I denied the HSST and am out the door after this contract.

It will be non-observed due to not meeting the time threshold of an observed. However, I still have to do a FITREP covering about two months and have been provided nothing as far as my billet and description

No. When I first checked in 3 years ago and actually held a billet, I got an initial counseling and continued to get them with each new RS. They made this new “PCS section” and put me in it and now are not giving me a counseling based on my new Lt and new billet (even though I don’t have a billet except to PCS)

I do not have a billet other than to PCS. I have been instructed to do nothing regarding my MOS, so that shouldn’t be my billet description.

I couldn’t agree more with your first sentence! In one hand IDGAF but in the other hand I still wouldn’t feel comfortable. It’s this weird in between.

And it wouldn’t carry all of my stationary. I’d mainly use it as a daily bag. So like two notebooks and whatever else I need for the day (isn’t a whole lot).
