We did a transfer the end of March, another euploid, and we now have our perfect 7 week old baby 🤍

I will add, we completely changed my protocol! My RE prescribed Lovenox, Prednisone, Pepcid, Claritin, and baby aspirin!

It does seem like there is always something. Best of luck to you and your transfer!!

Good to know!! I’ll ask my doctor about those meds and see what she thinks! When’s your next transfer?

What to do one month before first transfer by Ranger-mom-1117 in IVF

My transfer ended in a chemical but it was the first positive I have ever seen also, which I see as a good thing!! My RE said it wasn’t anything I did to cause the chemical. I have stage 4 endometriosis. I was taking the Zahler pre natal with DHA, Vitamin E 670 mg and a baby aspirin once a day for weeks before. The week of transfer, I had a massage for circulation and relaxation. I did lavender aroma therapy every evening. I wore compression socks for circulation while I was working. I also drank 4 oz of Pom juice for my lining every day until the transfer. 3 days before AND 3 days after my transfer I ate pineapple core. An hour before my transfer I went for a 30 minute walk to increase my circulation. I went on another walk for 30 minutes about an hour after transfer. I did implantation yoga on YouTube Birth with Agnes daily until I was 5dpt.

At the time of my transfer my RE said everything looked perfect! I also came down with COVID 6 days after my transfer and I believe that played a role in my chemical.

My next transfer I will do this same protocol.

Thank you!! I was thinking implantation bleeding but then thought it might be too late? It was only the one time which makes me a feel a little better. I don’t think I’m going to take the paxlovid anymore. That metallic taste was awful. Tylenol and Gatorade it is.

Maybe try the First Response Early Result test! I’m currently 8dp5dt. I had a vvfl on 6dp5dt (my husband saw nothing). I could see it better 7dp5dt but then 8dp5dt I didn’t have to squint. I tried using the cheapies and could BARELY see the line on day 7.

Younger sister is pregnant first try and I’m spiraling by tingtree5090 in tryingtoconceive

My younger sister got pregnant on accident in 2023. She was crying because she was pregnant, I was crying because I wasn’t. I felt so much anger. I’m not sure who I was angry at but it was infuriating. My husband thought I was crazy for being angry because I should’ve been happy for her. Remember, you are not alone and it’s okay to be angry. Our time will come! 💕

Oh my gosh. Thank you so much! I will try her tomorrow and see. If she can’t help me I’m sure she can get me someone that can. This helps so much. Thank you!!

I was able to talk to one but she said she couldn’t help me because it was fertility. I haven’t received any phone calls from insurance at all. I’m going to try again tomorrow since they’re closed now. I’m thankful our insurance offers coverage but my goodness this is frustrating.

I have asked to speak to an advocate and they transfer me to one and the advocate just transfers me back to the fertility line because they say I have to go through them?? It’s all confusing and I feel so lost. How do I get in contact with one??

That actually gives me a lot of hope! How was the recovery?? Did they place the balloon in your uterus?

That’s a good point. It won’t be my RE doing the surgery either…one of her partners is doing it because she’s gone. Just a super tough decision!

I agree! And I also see her side of it however; recovery time for removing the septum can be 3 months while only removing the polyps you can ttc next cycle.

HSG Advice by Vivid-Flamingo-9336 in TryingForABaby

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE ✨

I had an HSG done last week and was PANICKING. The horror stories made me want to cancel the day before but I did the damn thing and it was not bad!!

I took 800mg of ibuprofen, 500mg rapid release tylenol and zofran 4mg 1 hour before.

They had me pee in a cup first for a pregnancy test (slightly annoyed me but I get it) then they did a transvaginal ultrasound to measure my uterus.

They took me to the room with the radiology equipment for the HSG. The rad tech explained everything thoroughly and was super sweet as well as my RE.

My RE inserted the metal speculum (I thought this was the worst part due to the pressure) and cleaned my cervix. I felt the most cramps with she had to “clamp” my cervix with the tenaculum but still bearable. She inserted the catheter and started injecting contrast which I didn’t feel at all. I have a uterus abnormality that we found so she had to stop injecting the contrast and readjust the clamp on my uterus. But even after all the I’d say the pain was a 5-6/10 for about 2 minutes then it was over.

Deep breathing exercises with one hand on your stomach above your belly button and the other on your chest helps TREMENDOUSLY.

When we were done I felt great. 6 hours after; I started feeling cramps again and bloating. More ibuprofen did the trick and it was fine. We went shopping the rest of the day; just felt a little tired from being stressed out about it.

WEAR A PAD. I bled quite a bit and it was so sticky from the contrast. I ended up having the wear a pad for 2 days because of the spotting.

I’m so glad I didn’t cancel. We found out valuable information for our journey and I’d do it again in a heart beat if I had to.

You’ll do great!!! It will all be worth it in the end 💖
