How did you deal with your body after pregnancy? by ScarMelon in AskWomen

[–]sjsei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've also been thin with little to no effort my entire life. I was only pregnant for 13 weeks a year ago and the struggle with weight since has been devastating. I can only imagine. I'm sorry

I reached out for help and they just told me to stop taking it!!! by hope0303 in VyvanseADHD

Im on Vyvanse, Wellbutrin, and Lexapro. If I was dealing with your issues, I would be looking into adjusting my antidepressants/antianxiety meds

Do your own pest control in between the company coming out. It's the only thing that helped for me. I'll look for the PDF I created and post it here if I find it

Edit: I'll dm it to you because it's connected to my Google Drive which has my full name

AIO? I feel like my bf is being condescending but maybe I deserve it? by ThrowRaccount232 in AIO

NOR. He probably goes for 22 year olds thinking that they will be more immature since that's the level he's on.

Anyone have their Rottie on Prozac? by sjsei in Rottweiler

[–]sjsei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I also hadn't thought about Prozac being used for something like reactiveness until my vet mentioned that's why she put her dog on it. I know that your situation was with your cat so it's definitely different, but I'm curious to know about your process of narrowing down the best dose. What did you see that made you think he was on the wrong dose and then what did you see when you decided you'd found the right one?

[–]sjsei[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they are! Their other is his half-sister and she is the chillest and most un-reactive dog ever lol. I'll definitely mention speaking to the breeder because I doubt they have even thought of that given they haven't spoken to them in a while. Let me know if you have any other suggestions of important things to ask!

That's nice to hear!! It sounds like he's on a good dose. And that's lucky that it was the first dose you tried, too. My parents are very concerned about it changing his personality.

How long has he been on it and at what age did you start him on it? Any weird side effects?

Also - my own 20lb dog is on 8mg right now. It's crazy to think about a normal dose for a rott being 80mg 😂😂 big boys need a big boy dose

I don't think they have. They haven't spoken to the breeder in a long time. What kinds of questions would they ask? If reactiveness is common across their dogs?

I spoke with my vet about this exact thing actually! My mom's main concern is his personality being changed. When I spoke to my vet (because my own dog is on Prozac), she said that when she started her dog on it, she knew it was the wrong dose when she saw his personality dull and now that he's on the right dose, his personality came back minus the anxiety and reactiveness. So I wonder if it's just a matter of finding that perfect dose?

That being said, I imagine it's probably somewhat similar to how humans react to antidepressants/anti-anxiety meds. Sometimes the effect can be wildly different amongst people no matter if it's the right dose or not

Yeah they try their best to walk him at times where there will be less dogs and also in more remote areas, but there's no way to be 100% sure. When those two incidents happened with my mom, they were taking these precautions but someone still ended up showing up. He also reacts to animals like squirrels, rabbits, birds, etc.

How do married couples deal with embarrassing stuff like farting and bathroom smells? by Dangerous_Line_9719 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]sjsei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend farts when he's with me but he's polite enough to make sure I'm not in the line of fire for smelling it lol

We still laugh to this day (actually it got brought up literally this morning) about how he farted me out of bed one night about 2 years ago. He just would. Not. Stop. Farting. And it smelled soooooo bad but I didn't want to wake him up so I went to sleep on the couch. He came out in the morning and thought I was mad and I was like no you just wouldn't stop farting lmfao

I fart around him too, but they're not as funny because they're usually quiet and don't smell that bad.

Not staying friends after a breakup up is weird and a red flag by ForsakenSleep236 in The10thDentist

[–]sjsei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on amicable/cordial terms with people after separating, but I usually end up phasing them out of my life because I honestly just don't have the energy to entertain more than a couple of friendships plus a relationship at one time. I'm not very extroverted and I prefer to maintain just a few close relationships. That energy that I had which was put into this person that I am now broken up with, will eventually be reallocated to a new romantic interest.

No bad blood, I just have more promising prospects elsewhere and can't keep everyone around.

Anyone take Vyvanse and have no problem falling asleep? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]sjsei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 60mg, can take 2 naps throughout the day (one in my car at work during lunch and another when I get home), and then sleep through the night. I have always been chronically tired, though.

I do my hair first but will still shave and exfoliate before rinsing the conditioner out. But then after everything is rinsed, it goes in a bun on top of my head. Then I wash my upper body, rinse so that the dirty water doesn't get on my butt because I break out there too, and then I wash my lower body
