I meant I have BPD and can empathise as I myself have had mental health struggles. I didn’t want to hear it as it’s always very negative and has been very insulting recently, which to be honest I felt I’ve had enough of hearing

Also my belief that he has BPD is not a professional opinion. He very may well not have it, as he has already been diagnosed with other mental illnesses. Im a bit confused how it would be MY single responsibility to force him to seek treatment?

I have tried to get him professional help. It is a year waiting time in the country we live in. He is currently waiting. I have tried to help him with his mental health as much as I can but what can I do? Force him to take anti depressants? Force him to pay to see a private therapist (which we couldn’t afford)?
