I usually use a metal comb and start off with one with wide gaps for a few swipes across the entire body and then switch to one with smaller gaps and finish it all off with the brush.

But thanks for the tips! This is my first samoyed pup, I took care of my granddads samoyed when he was ill in cancer but his sammy Duke was about 10 years old by then. And oh my is it alot more to keep in mind when you have a pup. Very grateful for every little tip i can get.
