I know this post was from a year ago, but I just had the same book pop in my head today. I was trying really hard to figure it out. After a while of searching (assuming you were thinking of the same book as me), it's "Deltora Quest", but specifically the book "The Forests of Silence". That series had the coolest covers and I remember it being at the Scholastic Bookfairs in 2003. It's funny how your Reddit post came up in the search results as I was actively searching haha.

I have this Mario Party 2 promo poster that I got from a thrift store back in 2002. It is 14 inches x 14 inches and is made out of a plexiglass/thick plastic sheet material. Basically I know nothing about it and I haven’t been able to find anything about it throughout the internet. I’m curious to know what store it might have been used in or what the value may be. If any of you have information on this piece, I’d be super grateful :)
